WEFA, which stands for Wrestling and Education For All, is a non-profit organization that is based on the principles of excellence in wrestling and education. Our goal is to provide education and wrestling training to the youth of Brazil. Our plans to prepare these young people for a better life is to teach them morals, values, and team work through wrestling so that they may have the chance to ma
ke a positive difference in their lives, and the lives of those around them. WEFA was established in 2013 in the city of Garanhuns, Brazil. And in a short time, our organization has already expanded to 12 additional cities in 6 states. The cities included are Garanhuns, Recife, Caruaru, Paulista, Pedras, Olinda, and Pesqueria in the state of Pernambuco; João Pessoa and Campina Grande in the state of Paraíba; São Paulo, Guarulhos, and Baixada Santista in the state of São Paulo; Brasília in the state of DF (Federal District); Maceió in the state of Alagoas; and Terezina in the state of Piaui. There are more than one hundred young men and women in these 12 cities who have dedicated themselves to daily wrestling practices, five days a week. WEFA has already been blessed to have such a positive influence on the lives of so many young people. And as others hear about our organization, WEFA continues to be blessed with additional young men and women who also desire a better life by way of wrestling and education. With such a great amount of young men and women who are interested in being, and becoming, a part of WEFA, we are extending a personal invitiation to those of you who would be interested in becoming partners with our organization to help to maintain a positive level of success. As the number of our young people grow, so does the need for more equipment, supplies, coaching support, training camps, and opportunities to compete with other teams here in Brazil, and in other countries. O nosso objetivo é prover educação e luta olímpica para jovens no Brasil. Nós preparamos os jovens para encarar a vida assim como na luta. Nós estamos situados em alguns estados do Brasil (DF, SP, PI, PB, PE , AL ). Nós trabalhamos socialmente nas cidades de João Pessoa-PB, Terezina, Brasília-DF, Campina Grande-PB, Recife-PE, Paulista-PE, Caruaru-PE, Pedra-PE, Poção-PE, Pesqueira-PE, Maceió-AL, Garanhuns-PE, Olinda-PE.
