*Visit Nex No Extinction – A Unique Experience with Jaguars*
*What is Nex?*
Nex No Extinction is a dedicated conservation project focused on rescuing and rehabilitating jaguars that have been injured or displaced due to human activity. Our mission is to provide these magnificent animals with the best possible care while educating the public about their importance in the ecosystem. Unlike a zoo, Nex does not allow direct human interaction. We strive to create an environment that respects the natural behaviors of these apex predators.
*Why Do We Offer Tours?*
Nex is not government-funded, and the costs of caring for our jaguars are significant—each animal consumes around 50 kg of meat per day. The contributions from our visitors help cover the cost of food, veterinary care, and facility maintenance. A single group tour (35–40 people) helps provide enough food for the jaguars for an entire week. By joining our tour, you’re not just visiting; you’re actively supporting conservation.
*How to Get to Nex*
Nex is located in Goiás, Brazil, surrounded by natural landscapes. The exact address and directions will be provided upon confirmation of your reservation. The distance is around 80km from Brasilia, but Nex is accessible by car, with the last stretch being on rural roads. Plan your trip accordingly to ensure you arrive on time.
*Tour Program – A Day at Nex*
Our experience is carefully designed to offer an immersive and meaningful visit while ensuring the well-being of our animals.
🕤 9:30 AM – Arrival & Check-in
The gate opens at exactly 9:30 AM. There’s no need to call ahead, as the facility only opens at this time.
☕ 9:45 AM – Breakfast
A delicious, locally sourced breakfast to start the day.
🐆 10:15 AM – First Jaguar Tour
Learn about our jaguars, their rescue stories, and conservation efforts.
🌿 11:30 AM – Visit to the Waterfall
A short hike to a beautiful natural waterfall for a moment of relaxation.
🍽️ 12:30 PM – Lunch
A freshly prepared meal shared with fellow visitors in a peaceful setting.
🐾 1:30 PM – Second Jaguar Tour (Feeding Time!)
Witness the jaguars’ feeding behaviors and observe how their energy and instincts shift during mealtime.
🕞 3:30 PM – End of the Tour
Visitors depart, taking with them an unforgettable experience and a deeper understanding of conservation.

R$275 per person
This is not a ticket price but a donation that directly supports the jaguars. Nex does not operate as a traditional attraction but as a conservation project that relies on visitor support. If you’d like to contribute more, your generosity is always welcome and greatly appreciated.
