The Fraternidade gathers the long experience of its collaborators, who have been acting in a voluntary, fraternal and selfless manner for more than 25 years. During this time, the scope of the work has enlarged considerably, and the group experiences and the altruistic service in behalf of the human, animal, plant and mineral kingdom have promoted the formation of several fronts of humanitarian ac
tivity and spiritual life. The inner quest, through contact with spiritual life, is what should drive each member to be a part of this flow of love and service. It is also the basic principle to live true fraternity. The members of Fraternidade are volunteers of different ages, origins and experiences, and act in multiple and diverse forms of service offered in this work of Love. The participation ranges from the collaboration in some activity of the Network-of-Light and/or the Humanitarian Missions, to a greater consecration of life, whether as Resident and Permanent members in the Communities-of-Light or as Monks or Nuns of the Grace Mercy Order. The Federation also affiliates organizations that share its purposes and principles. From this federative union of efforts, it envisages the building of an integrated movement of renovation, aiming at peace and fraternity. The Spiritual Instruction that permeates this work, offered by our instructors José Trigueirinho and Mother María Shimani de Montserrat, is its leitmotif and guiding thread. These instructors support the group in the building of the inner connection within each member, collaborating with the expression of harmony and fraternity in the actions and coexistence of the group. Thus, the relations among the brothers and sisters are to be conducted by the energy of the soul, permitting that everyone may be turn to the manifestation of elevated goals and altruistic purposes.
