Sinesipho Dambile, identified and nurtured by the ACE Trust, stormed to victory in the Men's 200m Final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow earning the title of Commonwealth Champion.

The Journey Starts Here 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

ACE Pretoria has successfully concluded another outstanding selection camp, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for the next generation of aspiring learner-athletes.

The Trust remains committed to searching the length and breadth of South Africa to identify deserving young talent and provide opportunities through the Tuks Sport High School Athletics Academy.

Our mission extends beyond athletic performance—we are dedicated to the holistic development of every learner-athlete, equipping them to excel both on and off the track.

As we welcome a new cohort, we also celebrate the success of those who have walked this path before. Buhle Mgqibela and Selena Rocha are shining examples of the Academy's long-term development model in action. From humble beginnings in Cradock and Boksburg, respectively, they started their journey just like the aspiring learner-athletes who attended this year's selection camp.

Their achievements are a testament to what is possible when talent meets opportunity, guidance, and commitment. We look forward to seeing the next generation embrace this journey and create their own success stories.

Straight off a successful track season in Pretoria, our middle and long-distance squad kicked off the cross-country season in style at the Asics Menlo Relays 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Competing against a strong field of 55 schools, the group delivered an outstanding performance across all categories.

ACE Pretoria wrapped up a hugely successful ASA Senior Championship! 🏆

The ACE Trust continues to shine through its athletes—past and present—proving once again why it remains a powerhouse in South African athletics.

Global stars and household names emerging from the ACE Pretoria programme delivered exceptional performances, racking up medal after medal:

🔥 Prudence Sekgodiso dominated the women’s 800m with gold and added a silver in the 1500m.
🔥 The men’s 100m podium was an all-ACE Pretoria alumni showcase, with Gift Leotlela, Benjamin Richardson, and Bradley Nkoana leading the charge.
🔥 Rivers Williams, fresh off national duty in Brazil, returned to claim victory in the men’s Half Marathon Race Walk.
🔥 Sinesipho Dambile stormed to his third consecutive national 200m title in a blistering 20.02.
🔥 Mihlali Xotyeni impressed with a well-earned Bronze in the men’s 200m final.
🔥 Viwe Jingqi continued her strong form, securing Silver in the women’s 100m.

✨ Rising race walkers Kgotso Nkosi and Qhama Nombeleko claimed Gold and Silver in the 5km Open Race Walk.
✨ After representing SA at the World Cross Country Championships, Olerato Masiloane is making serious strides on the track—clocking 3:49 in the men’s 1500m, just two seconds shy of the World U20 qualifying standard for Oregon later this year.
