Please join us for this month's Codman Square Climate Justice Alliance meeting on Thursday, May 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. We will view a screening of the documentary, “Critical Condition — Health in Black America,” which was released last year by NOVA, the PBS science documentary series.

This will be a hybrid meeting, and dinner will be provided for all in-person attendees.

The CSNDC team was thrilled to join colleagues from across Massachusetts on at the State House on April 15 for Lobby Day. We raised our voices to champion critical community development, housing equity, and economic empowerment issues in our Commonwealth, including:

** Funding for affordable housing development
** Decarbonization and energy efficiency programs and funding
** Increased funding and access to rental assistance through RAFT

Our Executive Director, Dr. Ingrid Tucker, was a featured speaker at the event, highlighting the importance of investments to support homeownership and small business owners.

It was an inspiring day of connection, advocacy, and shared commitment. Below are a few photos from the day. Thank you MACDC - Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations - for organizing such an important and impactful event.

☔Join us for our April Codman Square Climate Justice Alliance meeting on Flooding and Green Infrastructure. We will be discussing flooding and green stormwater management infrastructure in Codman Square along with the City of Boston’s “Green My Block” initiative and the potential impact it will have on our community’s green space.

The meeting will be on April 15th from 6pm-7:30pm at 86 Southern Ave and also on Zoom.
