🚀 INOVA India Brazil
Last Friday, the São Paulo Regional Office of IBCC held the first edition of INOVA India Brazil 2026 at the USP Innovation District, bringing together business leaders, government representatives, and experts to discuss innovation, artificial intelligence, business technology applications, and strategic opportunities between Brazil and India.
The opening session featured André Aquino, from the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation; Leonardo Ananda, CEO of IBCC; Samo Tosatti, from the International Advisory Office of the State of São Paulo; Choudhary Vishal, from the Innovation Division of the Prime Minister’s Office of India; and Ângela Gandra, from the Municipal Secretariat for International Relations of São Paulo.
The event also welcomed the presence of His Excellency Kenneth da Nóbrega, Ambassador of Brazil to India, as well as a tribute (in memoriam) to Dr. Roberto Aluísio Paranhos do Rio Branco, President of the IBCC Advisory Board. The closing remarks were delivered by André Fleury (Inova USP).
The first panel, moderated by Pedro Rabelo (SP Negócios), brought together Alexandre Caldeira (Nanum), Fabiano Funari (HCLTech), Marco Túlio Alves (TCS), Alexandre Daquino (Tech Mahindra), and Ritesh Sharma (Nanofert) to discuss AI, business technology applications, and industrial innovation.
The second panel, moderated by Pedro Pignatari (InvestSP), featured Eunice Lima (Novelis), Puneet Gautam (Indorama), and Vagnaldo Teles de Carvalho (Embraer), addressing business and investment opportunities between India and Brazil.
