Zero Hour Philippines’ Project EIM partnered with Sangguniang Kabataan - Poblacion Pardo in Cebu City to conduct an environment and climate learning session, held on 11 April 2026.

The learning session focused on the climate crisis, plastic pollution, loss and damage, just transition, and the importance of youth participation in achieving the sustainable development goals.

Inviting the public to this webinar ahead of INC-5.3!

The Youth Plastic Action Network (YPAN) invites the public to a youth-led roundtable with INC Chair Candidates from Senegal, Chile, and Pakistan.

In collaboration with the Children and Youth Major Group to UNEP and Zero Hour.

The roundtable will include a capacity building session and anonymous Q&A and is open to all.

Zero Hour Philippines founder Vhon Michael and Zero Hour’s Director of Development Coco are live in Belém, Brazil for , joining the global climate strike with Fridays for Future Brazil.

Zero Hour and Zero Hour Philippines joined the Global Climate Strike on November 14 in Belém, Brazil at demanding stronger ambitions, a just transition, support for loss and damage, a demand to kick polluters out of the conference and listen to the indigenous peoples and frontline communities.

Since 2019, Zero Hour has participated at the annual UN Climate Conference pushing for youth priorities, fossil fuel phaseout, and climate finance. This year, our delegation will be composed of youth from the United States and the Philippines working hand in hand for on-the-ground action, in closed door meetings, and in bilaterals with Member States of the United Nations.

From 8-21 November, Zero Hour will be in Belém, Brazil for the 30th Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. From 8-21 November, our delegation will push for youth action, LNG blockade, fossil fuel phaseout, and of the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage.

Young people on the ground at the United Nations for the plastics treaty negotiations are showing Member States that they are a force.

Zero Hour director and children and youth coordinating team member Vhon Michael is coordinating youth and co-facilitating youth engagement while leading bilateral meetings with Member States.

For celebrated on June 5, environmental groups in Cebu City gathered at Plaza Independencia to celebrate and highlight actions in the city. A dialogue between advocates and the incoming mayors of Cebu City and Balamban was also conducted which focused on reassuring that incoming terms will have the environment as one of their priority agenda.

ambassador and Zero Hour Philippines founder and current World Food Forum Youth Representative, Vhon Michael, had meaningful conversations and engagement with environmental advocates and groups about plans going forward for Cebu province and in pushing for the interests of Filipino communities in international dialogues.
