This project aims to help the very poor and often abused children and youth of Cobija, Bolivia by establishing an orphanage to provide a safe and loving home environment by Christian Bolivian parents for children that are either living on the street, in the prison, abandoned, orphaned and/or abused. The orphanage will be established in Cobija, Pando, Bolivia. The goal is for the orphanage to be se
lf-sustained by purchasing additional land nearby as well as 30 dairy cows to obtain milk and make cheese to sell and by planting a garden yielding fruits and vegetables as a food source for the orphanage as well as an income generating source for the home. In the homes, the children will receive daily instruction in the Word of God to evangelize and disciple them and experience the love of God in a very practical way so that they will be able to accept God's love for them and receive Him as their personal Saviour. Our hope is that many of these children will also grow up to form evangelistic missions' teams and be prominent leaders in the church. The children will receive help with their school work, participate in sports and crafts and will learn life skills that will help prepare them to transition from the home and find work as self-sustaining adults. They will be able to remain in the home until they finish their education. The children will also help look after cows, chickens, and other animals while they live in the home as well as help grow fruits and vegetables so that they can help contribute to their daily needs instead of growing accustomed to only receiving.
