TEDx aims to fully take advantage the power ideas and turn it as a springboard' for initiatives and to garner support of Brunei’s well-connected, tight-knit community. With Gadong designated as the focal point of a long-time Central Business District, the first TEDx Brunei community made its debut at one of the centers of Brunei’s still-developing economy. The inaugural TEDx, aptly themed as “Progress”, was introduced in August 2014 at SEAMEO VOCTECH
with the continuation of concurrent volumes annually. The Founding Partners at TEDxGadong envisions to expand the TEDx Brunei series through the collective, strategic and financial support of esteemed institutions in the spirit of TED’s mission of “ideas worth spreading”.
