Brunei Photographic Society also known as Pertubuhan Fotografi Negara Brunei Darusalam (PFNBD) was established in June 1968 by a small group of photography enthusiasts of art, led by Haji Kamaluddin bin PDP Hj Abu Bakar, the first Speaker of that time he assumed the position as a photographer at the Department of Information. Today, Brunei Photographic Society many active members and some of their

good credit get in also outside the country. As written in the constitution of this organization, its objectives are to enhance skills and appreciation of photographic art with an exhibition such as individual and group works by local photographers. The Association would like to express deepest appreciation and thanks to Patron, advisors and presidents past and present on the opinions and advice as well as their efforts to the organization to continue to achieve success as they do now:
