Bermuda Is Love will host a Healthy Mothers Brunch on Saturday, November 14, in collaboration with the Women’s Resource Centre, It Takes a Village, Family Centre, and the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity.

Aaron Crichlow, Founder of Bermuda Is Love, said, “The Healthy Mothers Brunch will take place in the Cathedral Hall from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The event will provide expectant mothers and mothers with young children with a free, healthy brunch, nutritional and parenting information, access to diapers, counselling services, a panel discussion, and an opportunity to connect with other mothers and build a supportive community. Childcare and activities for children will also be provided.”

Amira Gift, Bermuda Is Love intern, said, “Bermuda Is Love believes that all mothers and children have the right to free and reliable access to everything they need to achieve the highest attainable standard of physical and mental well-being. Motherhood should not have to be navigated alone, and no mother should have to struggle to access the resources, information, and support she needs to care for herself and her children. All expectant mothers and mothers with young children are welcome, regardless of their background, circumstances, or income.”

A representative of the Women’s Resource Centre said, “The Women’s Resource Centre is pleased to partner with Bermuda Is Love to create a welcoming space where mothers can connect, build community, and feel supported. Opportunities like the Healthy Mothers Brunch are important because they remind women that they do not have to navigate motherhood alone, and that community, connection, and access to support can make a meaningful difference to their well-being.”

The Healthy Mothers Brunch is an opportunity to bring mothers, families, community organisations, and health professionals together to share knowledge, strengthen support networks, and recognise the importance of maternal and child health.

All expectant mothers and mothers with young children are welcome.

Hello, November! 🍂💚

A new month, a fresh start, and another opportunity to remind every mama just how strong she is.

Whether you’re preparing to welcome your little one, navigating the early days of motherhood, or finding your rhythm along the way, remember that every journey looks different.

This month, we’re focusing on slowing down, giving ourselves grace, and making space for the support we all deserve.

Because motherhood was never meant to be a journey you walk alone. It takes a village. 🤍

Mamas, what’s one thing you’re looking forward to this November? Tell us below!

As we close out October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to leave you with one important reminder: Knowing your normal matters.

Our bodies are constantly communicating with us, and recognising when something feels different is an important part of looking after our health.

A new lump, changes in breast shape, unusual discharge, or persistent discomfort should never be ignored.

Not every change means cancer, but every unusual change deserves attention.

Although October is coming to an end, the conversation around breast health shouldn’t.

Take the time to get familiar with your body, schedule your recommended screenings, and encourage the women in your life to do the same.

Save this post as a reminder and share it with someone you care about.

Awareness doesn’t end with October.

A little reminder to put yourself on your own priority list. 💗

Breast cancer doesn’t always come with noticeable symptoms. That’s why regular screening is so important.

Early detection can make a real difference, and knowing when to get screened starts with understanding your personal risk.

Have you been putting off that appointment? Consider this your gentle nudge to make the call.

Your health matters. Your peace of mind matters. YOU matter. 🎀

Save this post as a reminder and share it with a woman you love.
