About AIDB

The AIDB is Non Lucratif the indigenous peoples NGO to promote and protect the human rights of the indigenous Batwa population In Burundi. Sometime the members attend the United Nations sessions to expose the oral statements on the situation of the Batwa population in Burundi. This NGO was created in 2007 and registered in Government of Burundi in May 27, 2009. The activities of the AI

DB are focus on the human rights, health, incomes, education and the environment linked to climate change. This NGO is composed of the more 50000 members in the national level. We protect the human rights violation of the Batwa population in collaboration with the mecanismes of the United Nations and the government of Burundi. Then, we submit the Written statments under the invitation of the UN ECOSOC to contribute about the New agenda post-2015 and others programs of the Economic and social council of the United Nations. In Burundi, we make advocacy and lobbying for Batwa so that the government of Burundi can grant the lands, ect, we manage the activities for generator of income among the Batwa. Our Vision

Our vision for every indigenous Batwa population is Life in all its fullness and has a better chance to take control of their life and achieve self-sufficiency. Our expertise
