Pakistan Association Burundi successfully organized a reformative gathering to welcome the blessed month of Ramadan. The program was attended by members and guests, where respected speakers delivered insightful speeches on the virtues and spirit of Ramadan.

The Minister of Infrastructure extended a cordial welcome to a delegation from the Pakistani High Commission and the Pakistan Association Burundi (PAB). The delegation was spearheaded by His Excellency Mr. Naeem Illah Khan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and included Mr. Basit Ashraf, President of PAB, along with esteemed members Mr. Mohsan Khan and Mr. Sunny Hasnani.

The discussion, which took place at the Ministry's offices, centered on identifying potential collaborations in the areas of infrastructure and housing development.

Annual Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference 2025 — A Heartfelt Gathering of Unity and Reflection

Pakistan Association Burundi successfully hosted the Annual Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference 2025 on Saturday, 20th September at Asian Restaurant, Quartier Asiatique, Bujumbura.

The evening brought together distinguished leaders, scholars, and members of various communities in a spirit of reverence and unity. Centered on the theme “The Holy Prophet’s ﷺ Life as Rahmatun Lil’aalameen,” the program offered meaningful reflections, spiritual enrichment, and a renewed commitment to compassion and coexistence.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and supporters whose presence and contributions made this event memorable.

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have signed a Historic Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement (SMDA)

Building on the historic partnership extending for nearly eight decades, based on the bonds of brotherhood and Islamic solidarity, as well as shared strategic interests and close defense cooperation between the two countries, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister and His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan signed the “Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement”(SMDA).

This agreement reflects the shared commitment of both nations to enhance security and to achieve security and peace in the region and the world. It aims to develop aspects of defense cooperation between the two countries and strengthen joint deterrence against any aggression.

The agreement states that any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both.
