Christmas Celebration with YBSP at the Musée vivant of Bujumbura

On December 21st, the organization Youth Building in Synergy to End Poverty (YBSP) brought together more than 200 children from vulnerable families and their mothers for a Christmas celebration filled with joy, sharing, and hope.

The program featured artistic performances by the children, traditional and modern dances, live music, and inspiring testimonies from women beneficiaries, highlighting the tangible impact of YBSP’s actions in child protection, women’s empowerment, and sustainable community development.

This event also served as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration with partners, local authorities, and communities, while emphasizing the importance of a family-centered approach in ensuring a better and more sustainable future for children.

Over the course of two days, our team had the privilege of receiving expert training from Mr. Venant MANIRAKIZA, Senior Expert Quality Assurance Consultant.

This learning experience strengthened our fundraising and sustainability strategies, equipping us to enhance our programs and continue driving lasting impact within our communities.

Our YBSP Education for All Football program is more than just a game⚽ it’s about building teamwork, discipline and confidence in every participant.
Each last Sunday of the month, our beneficiaries come together to train, play and grow not only as athletes but as future leaders.
From learning new skills on the field to celebrating each goal and effort, these sessions are full of energy, fun and valuable life lessons.

On September 14th, 2025, we had the great joy of concluding our campaign at Stella Matutina, where 138 beneficiaries of the Education for All program received essential school supplies thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters and community.
This campaign was not just about distributing materials it was a true investment in the future of every child we reached.

With the warm presence of special guests, community leaders, and committed advocates, the day was filled with hope, smiles, and a deep sense of solidarity.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners Giving Hand Vocation, Blessed Friends Family, Interact Bujumbura and Unite for Good whose unwavering support made this possible, and to the friends of YBSP, both near and far, who contributed with love and purpose to the collection and distribution of supplies.

Your support reminds us that the power of community can truly change lives.

This Sunday, July 13th, 2025, a Educational program 2nd edition was held to strengthen the skills of workshop leaders in preparation for the themes they will continue teaching until the end of the year.

Patrick BUKURU, coordinator of the Workshop project, expressed his satisfaction with the chosen topic:

Facilitation
Animation Technics

The session focused on three key areas:

* Methods to engage and motivate participants
* Group management and group dynamics
* Use of interactive tools
The training was attended by the ten workshop leaders;

This training aimed not only to build the leaders’ facilitation capacity but also to enhance the quality and impact of the sessions they lead with youth beneficiaries. With renewed skills and practical tools, these leaders are now better equipped to create engaging, inclusive, and effective learning environments for the remainder of the year.

ICIBARE C’URWARUKA

Micro-credit and saving program for the youth of YBSP.
This initiative has been greatly supporting young members by promoting a culture of saving and providing access to small loans.
The board regularly organizes team-building sessions and general assembly meetings to strengthen the program and build a better future together.
This Saturday, the board team held a meeting with the members to discuss the program, addressing various challenges related to services and responsibilities

Placée sous le thème « Planification et budgétisation des droits de l’enfant : progrès depuis 2010 », la Journée internationale de l’Enfant Africain a été célébrée le 17 Juin 2024 par à Ngozi, dans la province de BUTANYERERA.
Parmi les temps forts, une prestation vibrante de danse traditionnelle présentée par les enfants de a émerveillé l’assistance, mettant en lumière la richesse culturelle du Burundi et le potentiel remarquable de sa jeunesse.
Ce fut une grande joie de voir les bénéficiaires de notre programme Éducation pour Tous célébrer aux côtés d’autres jeunes du pays.

Cela leur a montré qu’ils sont soutenus, qu’ils ne sont pas oubliés et que leur avenir est prometteur.
Les festivités ont débuté par un défilé haut en couleur, suivi de discours inspirants prononcés par plusieurs personnalités, dont Madame la Ministre de la Solidarité Nationale, le représentant de l’ et les autorités locales.
