On top of our traditional humanitarian work to restore the dignity of victims of any tragedies,
Christian Aid Burundi, through its Markets Program, provides invaluable assistance in agribusiness and value chains development. We are currently working with local partners in the coffee, sunflower and maize commodities by supporting co-operatives to have greater market influence and increase their i
ncome. We have also built strong partnerships with churches, faith-based organisations and government institutions in the promotion of a reliable community health and for an end to the HIV-related stigma. Lastly, we are happy to announce the launch of Action2020, a new and ambitious programme in Family Planning. Funded by UK Aid, it aims to enable Burundian citizens to support Burundi government to meet family planning commitments.
