Last week at the YPDSI office, our Executive Director, Gervais Kwizera, had the pleasure of welcoming Harrison Anim Frimpong from Interweave Solutions International.

The meeting focused on exploring a strategic partnership to introduce the MBS program (Master of Business in the Streets) an initiative already successfully implemented across various institutions worldwide.

At YPDSI, we remain committed to building impactful partnerships that drive transformation and create lasting change.

Spotlight on Emerging Talent: Kenny Darcy Ndimurukundo

Meet Kenny Darcy Ndimurukundo, a 17-year-old goalkeeper whose journey reflects ambition, discipline, and the power of long-term investment in youth development.

With the support of Youth for Peace, Development and Social Inclusion, Kenny has steadily grown both on and off the field. Alongside his passion for football, he is pursuing a science-focused academic path in high school demonstrating a strong balance between education and sport.

Currently playing in the 3rd Division, Kenny recently made his debut where he delivered an impressive performance, securing a 0–0 result for his team. His efforts did not go unnoticed, as he received recognition and a performance bonus from the club president an encouraging sign of his potential and commitment.
Kenny’s journey is a testament to consistent development.

Having been nurtured through YPDSI’s program since the U13 level, his progress highlights the impact of patience, mentorship, and sustained investment in young talent.
At YPDSI, we believe in long-term growth, discipline, and creating pathways for young athletes to achieve their dreams.
Kenny’s story is just the beginning.

Empowering Youth Through Football & Life Skills

A youth empowerment program led by Youth for Peace, Development and Social Inclusion.

This season, 25 young players were carefully selected to be part of our U18, 2026 cohort marking the beginning of a transformative journey built on discipline, commitment, and growth.

Last Saturday, April 4th, these talented players reached an important milestone. After weeks of structured training and daily dedication, they had the opportunity to put their learning into action by participating in a local tournament.

Because before exposure comes preparation. Through teamwork, resilience, and consistency, they demonstrated not only their technical abilities but also a strong mindset earning a 1–0 victory in their first game. This win is more than a result; it reflects the impact of mentorship, hard work, and the belief that every young person deserves a chance to unlock their full potential.

We are proud of their progress and remain committed to guiding them throughout this season of growth.
To our players: stay focused, stay disciplined, and keep striving the journey has just begun.
