International “DEW” Festival to Bring Folklore Groups Together in England in 2027
The International “DEW” Festival will take place from 10 to 14 June 2027 in Crawley, United Kingdom. The event will bring together folk dance ensembles, singing groups and performers of traditional instruments from different countries.
Crawley is located in West Sussex, around 45 km from London and close to Gatwick Airport. The festival programme combines stage performances, international cultural exchange and opportunities for participants to visit some of the most popular places in southern England.
The programme includes an international welcome evening, a visit to London, presentations of participating countries and performances at Saint Hill Manor in East Grinstead, as well as a cultural celebration in Crawley. Each group will have the opportunity to present a free programme of up to 30 minutes.
Groups from all over the world are welcome to participate, with performers aged 12 and above. The organisers encourage ensembles to bring their national flag and small symbolic gifts for exchange, turning the event not only into a festival stage but also into a meeting point for different cultures and traditions.
Those wishing to take part in the International “DEW” Festival can submit their applications and present the folklore and traditions of their country to an international audience in England.
