Folk Ensembles to Showcase Their Art at a Festival in Loutraki, Greece
From August 31 to September 4, 2026, the picturesque Greek resort town of Loutraki and the historic region of Corinth will host the International Folk Festival “Loutraki-Corinth” – an event that annually attracts performers from various countries and provides opportunities for cultural exchange, new friendships, and memorable stage performances.
The festival will take place in one of the most beautiful regions of Greece. Loutraki is renowned as a modern seaside and spa resort located just about 100 kilometers south of Athens. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy both the beautiful beaches of the Corinthian Gulf and the rich cultural and historical heritage of the area.
The stages in Loutraki and Athens will welcome folk ensembles, majorette groups, and musical formations without age restrictions. Each group will have the opportunity to present a concert program of up to 20 minutes, including five performances of their own choice.
The organizers have prepared comfortable accommodation conditions and a rich accompanying program, including an official farewell celebration, diploma awards, and opportunities for sightseeing visits to some of Greece’s most famous landmarks. Recommended excursions include the capital city of Athens, the Corinth Canal, the historic town of Nafplio, and the region’s renowned ancient theatre.
The festival offers an excellent opportunity to present national traditions to an international audience and to establish new contacts among artistic groups from different countries.
The organizers invite all folk, music, and majorette groups to apply for participation. Places are limited, and registration is already open.
