CET Platform Bulgaria Bulgarian branch of the CET Platform network.

Main goals of CET Platform are to provide support, help, services and expert knowledge in the field of civil society development, democratic processes, civic values and non-formal education to all citizens, especially the youth. Conducting activities related to advocacy issues of public policy as well as organizing various events – round tables, debates, trainings, seminars and workshops – in the

field of civic education, promoting volunteering and exchange about human rights, development of local, regional and European relations and cooperation. Another main goal is the encouragement of creativity, innovations, entrepreneurship and sustainable development in a civil society.

Основната цел на Платформа за гражданско образование и обучение е да осигури подкрепа, помощ, услуги и експертни познания в областта на развитието на гражданското общество, демократичните процеси, граждански ценности и неформалното образование за всички граждани, особено на младите хора. Провеждане на дейности свързани със застъпничество по въпроси на обществена политика, както и организиране на събития (кръгли маси, дебати,обучения, семинари и работни срещи) в сферата на гражданското образование, насърчаване на доброволчеството и обмен в областта на правата на човека за развитие на местни, регионални, европейски и международни отношения и сътрудничество. Друга основна цел на Сдружението е насърчаване развитието на креативността, иновациите, предприемачеството, и устойчиво развитие на гражданското общество.

Day 7 was dedicated to reflection, self-awareness, and recognising the learning that took place throughout the project. Through individual and group reflection activities, participants explored their personal development, shared meaningful moments, and identified the competencies they strengthened during the training course. 🌿✨

Using the Youthpass framework, participants reflected on their growth in areas such as teamwork, communication, intercultural learning, inclusion, creativity, outdoor facilitation, and active participation. The session reminded us that learning happens not only through activities, but also through reflection, experience, and the connections we build along the way. 🤝

🇪🇺 Erasmus+ Training Course “Inside, Outside – Turn Around!”

Day 6 focused on the role of creativity, reflection, and outdoor experiences in youth work and non-formal education. Through a nature-based painting workshop, participants explored how artistic expression can support emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, inclusion, and personal development. Using natural surroundings as inspiration, participants reflected on emotions, mindfulness, and the importance of creating safe spaces where young people can express themselves freely and without judgment. 🎨✨

In the second part of the day, participants took part in a group hike combined with observation exercises, intercultural dialogue, and brainstorming activities connected to outdoor education and community engagement. Along the route, participants exchanged ideas on how nature-based methods can strengthen teamwork, resilience, communication, environmental awareness, and active participation in youth work. 🌲🥾

The activities highlighted how non-formal education in nature can support mental wellbeing, social connection, creativity, and experiential learning while encouraging young people to reconnect with both themselves and the environment around them.

🇪🇺 Erasmus+ Training Course “Inside, Outside – Turn Around!”

The fifth day of our project combined outdoor adventure, practical survival learning, and collective reflection. 🌿🧭

We started the day with an interactive treasure hunt in the forest where participants worked in teams to solve challenges, follow clues, and complete survival-related tasks. Along the way, we explored basic outdoor survival skills such as identifying useful natural materials, learning fire-making techniques, discussing environmental responsibility, and understanding how to interact safely and respectfully with nature. 🔥🌲

The activity encouraged teamwork, communication, creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability, as every group had to cooperate and make decisions together under time pressure. Through experiential learning, participants strengthened their confidence and awareness of how nature can become both a learning environment and a source of resilience.

In the second part of the day, participants gathered for a reflection and evaluation session focused on improving the workshops developed during the project. Through feedback, discussions, and collaborative planning, groups analyzed facilitation methods, inclusion, communication, group dynamics, and ways to make activities even more engaging and accessible. ✨

The day ended with a collective reflection circle where participants shared lessons learned about leadership, cooperation, facilitation, and the importance of constructive feedback in creating meaningful educational experiences.

🇪🇺 Erasmus+ Training Course “Inside, Outside – Turn Around!”

Day 4 was dedicated to creativity, teamwork, and designing nature-based non-formal education activities. Participants worked in international groups to create their own interactive outdoor workshops focused on environmental awareness, inclusion, mindfulness, creativity, and connection with nature. Through brainstorming, role-play, discussions, and shared experiences, each team developed unique activity ideas while learning how to make workshops engaging, accessible, and meaningful for different groups of young people. 🤝✨

In the second part of the day, we brought some of these workshops to life outdoors. Participants explored nature through sensory and mindfulness activities, listening carefully to forest sounds, touching natural textures, collecting flowers, and discovering the incredible variety of colors found in nature. 🌸🍃 One of the most creative moments was designing flower crowns and creating artistic compositions using natural materials gathered respectfully from the environment.

The activities also included playful animal roleplay exercises that filled the group with laughter and energy, while spotting a fox in the wild became one of the most memorable moments of the day. 🦊

Through these experiences, participants reflected on how nature can improve wellbeing, creativity, communication, and social connection while strengthening awareness about environmental protection and inclusion.

🏛️ Day 3 11th May 2026 | Cultural Day in Plovdiv
🇪🇺 Erasmus+ Training Course “Inside, Outside – Turn Around!”

On the third day of our project, we travelled to the beautiful city of Plovdiv for a cultural exploration day filled with history, connection, and intercultural exchange. 🌍✨

Walking through the Old Town, participants discovered the rich cultural heritage, architecture, artistic atmosphere, and historical landmarks of one of Europe’s oldest cities. The day gave us the opportunity to learn more about Bulgarian culture, share experiences with each other, and strengthen the bonds within the group outside the training environment. 🤝

Through shared moments, conversations, and new discoveries, the cultural visit reminded us that learning also happens through travel, curiosity, and experiencing different cultures together.

🌿 Day 2 | Trust, Connection & Learning Through Nature
🇪🇺 Erasmus+ Training Course “Inside, Outside – Turn Around!”

Our second day was dedicated to communication, trust-building, mindfulness, and discovering the educational power of nature. ✨

We started with a powerful group connection exercise where participants stood in a circle with their eyes closed and tried to count together without speaking over each other. What seemed simple quickly became a lesson in patience, active listening, awareness, and collective strategy-building. Without seeing one another, we learned to communicate through silence, rhythm, intuition, and trust. 🤝

Later, we moved into the forest for a blind walk activity in pairs. One participant guided the other through nature while they explored the environment without sight. By focusing on sounds, textures, movement, and sensations, we experienced nature in a completely different way. The activity encouraged empathy, vulnerability, responsibility, and emotional connection — both with our partners and with the natural world around us. 🌲🍃

In the afternoon, we explored the forest ecosystem and discovered local medicinal plants using digital plant-identification tools. Working together, participants learned about biodiversity, sustainability, traditional herbal knowledge, and environmental protection. Along the way, we encountered turtles and lizards, observed different plant species, and collected edible herbs that we later used to prepare a collective herbal tea experience. 🍵🌱

Through these activities, we strengthened teamwork, communication, inclusion, mindfulness, and environmental awareness while deepening our connection with nature and with each other.

Learning happens everywhere — especially outside. 🌍💚

Our journey in Stara Zagora has officially begun! 🌿✨
The first day of the training course was all about getting to know each other, building trust, and creating a positive group atmosphere. Through interactive team-building activities, games, and non-formal education methods, participants from different countries had the chance to connect, share experiences, and start building the foundations for the days ahead.

From the very first moments, the energy, openness, and motivation within the group showed the power of intercultural exchange and cooperation. 🤝🌍
Together, we are creating a safe and inclusive learning space where everyone can participate, express themselves, and grow, both inside and outside the classroom.
We are excited for the next days full of outdoor learning, creativity, inclusion, and new experiences in nature! 🌲☀️

Day 6 – March 9th: Reflection, Celebration and Closing

The final day of the “Safeguarding Democracy” youth exchange was dedicated to reflection, evaluation, and celebrating everything we experienced together. We looked back at the whole learning process, discussing what we learned about democracy, disinformation, AI, and active citizenship, but also how we grew personally through teamwork, intercultural dialogue, and non-formal education. It was a valuable moment to reflect on our progress, share feedback, and think about how we can use these experiences in our local communities.

Before officially closing the project, we enjoyed the Romanian and Armenian cultural evening, where we discovered traditional music, dances, food, and fun interactive presentations. We also had our classic last day snack party, sharing treats, memories, and lots of laughter together. It was the perfect way to celebrate new friendships and an unforgettable experience. 🌍✨
