In 2014 we've lounched two more Projects:
"PLEVEN - THROUGH THE DIFFERENT GLIMPSE OF YOUNG ARTISTS FROM BULGARIA"
The idea for the planner was shared with us by a young painter -
Cvetelina Angelova. And we all did it together. This Project was a 6-days PAINTING and GRAFITTI PLANNER.
8 youngpainters and 8 Grafitti artists created pictures of the Town. (There took part two foreign artists - from Greece and Turkey.) All the process of creation happened in the streets. One of the canvases was a 16-metres tall wall in the heart of Pleven. It took the grafitti artists two days to paint a mutual perception of the town on such a huge space. The young painters created 30 canvases. In the last day of the planner they were presented at an Exhibition at the Town Art Gallery Ïliya Beshkov". Part of the Projecct were also a Jazz Concert, an Arfa Concert and an art-musical performance and evening draing planners. The resultts: 16 Young Artists were painting one town and living inn one house for six days Together. The process of creating together has happened. It led to wonderful art works, artists contacts ann young artists'nets. "JAZZ IN THE GALLERY"
This was a Mini Jazz Fest in three days. Eight jazz artists took part in it. Amongst them were names as Alex Kiprov, Mery Nacheva, Doroteya Liuckanova. Two jazz concerts and a Jam-Session Discossion were part of it. They filled up with jazz fans and jazz sounds the big hall of Iliya Beshkov Art Gallery among the picturesque atmosphere of paintings all around. We aim at provoking interest in art-and-literature endeavours among young people and develop creative industries among contemporary artists. We engage audiences and bring diverse cultures together to share experiences around art that inspire, entertain and educate. Our chief goal is towards the dialogue multiculture-contraculture through the very process of creating together. DIRYA Foundation provide the opportunity of exhibitions, performances, concerts, discussions, work-shops, literary readings, painting planners, festivals and jam sessions. Thus we organize different forms for cultural communication and alternative art initiatives. We support any contemporary arts attempts. Our special interest are young emerging artists and authors. We impact and celebrate the extraodrinary and experimental. We launch cultural projects in the sphere of art and literature. DIRYA Foundation created an open space for sharing, exchanging and presenting art and ideas –
