Summer in the city? At Campus X, the conversations don't take a vacation.

Last week, another edition of VertoTalks brought together a room full of curious people for a discussion that challenged the way many of us think about AI, technology and the future of work.

Hosted by our member VertoDigital, It was about sharing real lessons, experiments, mistakes and insights, from rebuilding an entire company website with AI to rethinking what "good work" looks like in a world where the way we build is changing faster than ever.

What we love most seeing people openly share what they're learning, ask difficult questions, challenge each other's ideas and leave with something new to think about.

A huge thank you to the Verto team for another inspiring event.

Sofia doesn't have a river to define it. It has a mountain, reachable in under an hour, with a summit waiting after work hours.

Last week, part of the Campus X community traded desks for the trail to Cherni Vrah.

The route via "The Wall" starts steep, 250-300 meters of elevation in the first stretch, before it eases into something closer to a walk. Not unlike most things worth building.

At the top: a hut, a drink, a view of the city that looks smaller from up there. Then back down before the light goes.

The next generation of founders is already building their first startups.

This September, Campus X continues its partnership with Teenovator, a programme that helps high school students turn ideas into real ventures with the support of experienced mentors.

Once again, we'll be opening our space for the weekly club meetings. We're also excited to see members of the Campus X community stepping up to mentor teams and share their experience with the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Knowledge grows when it's shared. That's one of the values our community is built on, which is why supporting Teenovator feels like such a natural fit.

Teenovator is currently looking for mentors for the new season. If you've been thinking about giving back, sharing your experience, and helping young people build their first venture, this might be the perfect opportunity.

Turns out watching 22 people chase a ball is a pretty solid excuse to get two communities together.

Last week marked the first event between Campus X and CEOmoments, an informal evening built around the round of 16 match. Warm evening, good crowd, and it turns out Plaza is a pretty great spot for exactly this kind of thing.

CEOmoments is a community where CEOs of growing companies sit down and talk through real, practical situations from running a business — the stuff that doesn't usually get said out loud. Put that next to a room full of founders and operators building their companies right now, and there's a lot of common ground to work with.

Thirty posters came down this month.
The walls at Campus X are now a living gallery, works by Kalia Kalacheva, a Bulgarian abstract artist working with silver, gold and holographic surfaces, across our three buildings and a few sculptural pieces throughout the campus.
Eight years of young founders on this campus. Now, young Bulgarian artists on its walls.

Two days of thunderstorms — and right in the middle, this.

This Wednesday we gathered at Plaza for our Summer KICK-OFF — good music, cold drinks, fresh pizza from the oven, and a lot of familiar faces in one place. The evening stretched well past 21:00.

Thanks to Forno Nomade for firing up the oven and making pizza on the spot, and to Hills Beer for the drinks. Both made the evening what it was.
