Dear Followers, Friends and Rotary Members!
📸 We are launching a photo contest: THE DANUBE AT ITS LOWEST

The water level of the Danube is very low, and we would like to capture this special moment through photography. The Danube connects our countries, communities and Rotary clubs.
Let’s show the world how Danube looks like today and help raise awareness of the changes we are seeing.

🌊 WHO CAN TAKE PART?
Everyone is welcome! You do not have to be a Rotary member to participate. Rotary Danube Alliance clubs, Rotary members and anyone who loves the Danube can join the contest.

📷 HOW TO JOIN:

Upload a maximum of 2 photos to the Google Photos album by 19 September 2026:

https://photos.app.goo.gl/tivLhJtPyjBJgMos8

⚠️ Maximum 2 photos per participant. Additional photos will be removed.

Add a caption to each photo with:
- location and country where the photo was taken
- your name
- your Rotary club name (if you are a Rotary member)

👍 VOTING:
After the submission deadline, all eligible photos will be shared on Facebook for voting.
Voting will take place from 20 September until 4 October 2026.
The photo with the most likes will be the winner!

🏆 AND WHAT IS THE PRIZE?
No money, no trophy… just fame and glory! 🤩
Your photo will become part of our shared visual story of the Danube in 2026.

Take your best Danube photo and let’s see the river through your eyes!

Did you know that a solar power system can reduce electricity costs by up to 7–8 times while providing more than 24 hours of fully autonomous power for an entire facility? ☀️🔋
That’s exactly what we achieved through our joint project, “Paradise for Children,” at the Rehabilitation Center in the village of Opitsvet.
This impactful installation was made possible thanks to our partner Ivo Arsov, owner of Eco Power Systems, whose expertise and commitment helped turn this vision into reality.
