Open Destinations | Tourism for All 2026 brought together people from different countries, disciplines and experiences around a question that matters far beyond tourism:

Who gets to belong?

For one day in Sofia, the room was full of architects, designers, tourism professionals, policymakers, accessibility experts, innovators and changemakers. But even more importantly, it was full of curiosity, imagination and exploration

💫The conversations were not about limitations, but about possibilities. And perhaps that is what we will remember most🫶

🩷To every participant who joined us, every speaker who shared their expertise, every volunteer who gave their time, and every partner who helped us to achieve this milestone in Bulgaria, thank you!

You helped create something much bigger than a conference.

You helped start a conversation that we hope will continue far beyond this place, this city and this moment.

In just a few days, Sofia will host the first international conference on inclusive design in Bulgaria.

Open Destinations | Tourism for All 2026 is finally here🥳

For one day, we are bringing together designers, architects, cities, cultural organisations, and creative leaders from across Europe to talk about something much bigger than tourism.

Because tourism is never only tourism. It is how a society welcomes people.

A huge thank you to our destination partner, Visit Sofia, for believing in this conversation from the very beginning ❤️

Still slightly surreal.
Still extremely exciting.
Still cannot believe how many incredible people are coming together for this.
