Our programs are powered by our belief that great things happen when you give people an opportunity to discover their full potential. Champions Factory is an international non-governmental organisation bringing social change through innovations in education and sport. Champions Factory is established and with headquarters in Sofia (Bulgaria), as it has offices in the United Kingdom, the Republic o

f Ireland, Turkey and Ghana. Champions Factory works in the following fields:
- Young people and youth workers - through innovative educational methodologies they develop and empower young people to be active citizens and to reach their potential to full capacity on a national and international level. We have involved more than 3000 youth from disadvantaged areas and NEETs in different courses and initiatives, as well as more than 480 youth in international exchanges, courses, seminars, meetings.
- “Champions Academy” - private program for young people to develop their leadership and communicational skills, knowledge and competencies
- International Network “Learning through sport” - Champions Factory develops, tests and spreads the “learning through sport” methodology, which builds-up leadership skills in youth and promotes the values of sport (fairness, team building, equality, discipline, inclusion, perseverance and respect).
- Vocational education and training - Champions Factory runs the biggest vocational education and training consortium among sports schools in Bulgaria, as they have five sport schools members
- Adult learners - Champions Factory provides teaching and training courses for staff of adult education organisations in areas as intercultural classrooms, tolerance and diversity, and sport management
- Developing Mountain Biking in Bulgaria and Europe and managing Champions Factory Bike Park “Rilla Lakes.”

🏆 Building safer sports environments for children.
Through the Child Protection from Violence in Sports project, we worked with coaches, sports clubs, parents, and young athletes to strengthen safeguarding practices and promote positive, inclusive sports environments.
The project trained 23 coaches in child safeguarding and conflict resolution, engaged 100 children through sports workshops, involved 10 sports clubs, and reached around 200 parents through an awareness campaign. In addition, more than 16,000 people were reached online through social media activities featuring athletes and sports advocates.
The project also produced a Child Protection Policy and a Code of Conduct, providing practical tools to help sports organizations create safer spaces for children and young people.
Together, we are making sport safer, more inclusive, and empowering for every child.

We are delighted to share that our YETS Ghana cohort has officially begun their Sporting Unity Virtual Exchange Programme journey! 🇬🇭

In Module 1: Olympism and Colonialism in Sport, our young people explored the history and origins of the Olympic Games, the core values of Olympism, excellence, friendship, and respect, and the powerful and complex relationship between colonialism and sport in Africa and beyond.

What made this session truly special was the enthusiasm and maturity our students brought to the discussions. They asked sharp questions, shared personal perspectives, and engaged with challenging topics with real confidence and curiosity.

We are thrilled to share that our Sporting Unity Virtual Exchange Programme 🌍⚽ is officially underway with our Accra Majestics cohort in Ghana! 🇬🇭

Over Modules 1 and 2, our young people have been diving deep into the history and values of the Olympic Movement, unpacking the colonial legacy in sport, and having honest, powerful conversations about exclusion, identity, and what it means to be a true sporting champion.

We are just getting started — and we could not be prouder of our young people and our incredible trainer team. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress through the programme! 💙🌍
