👀 What do you see? 👀
This week, , and alums got together in СГХГ Sofia City Art Gallery for an interactive workshop on deep looking with Brown alumna Liliana Milkova from the Yale University Art Gallery.
We explored how applying all our senses (not just sight) can expand our capacity to see and interpret a historic photograph by Georgi Kyuchukov, as well as – more broadly – any picture we look at. 📸
We wrapped up the session with an activity that both challenged and enhanced our ability to see through the eyes of another, and to consider how others think, talk, and write about images!
After the workshop, we continued the lively conversations over drinks nearby. No photo evidence, but trust us, it was fun! 🥂
✍️ This was the first mini cross- mixer in a while, and we’d love to hear your ideas for future meetings and events. If you have a proposal, write us a message!
