Para-armwrestling has officially reached the minimum global participation requirement set by the International Paralympic Committee, with over 32 countries actively involved worldwide.

This is a major step forward, and it brings us closer than ever to our goal: Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games.

The journey continues, and together, we are making history.

В ###V Чемпионате России по армрестлингу примут участие 500 сильнейших рукоборцев из 62 субъектов Российской Федерации.
За места в сборной команде России будут бороться звезды мирового армрестлинга - Алексей Воевода, Алан и Хаджимурат Золоевы, Ирина Гладкая, Екатерина Никишова!
Ожидаем сенсации и рождение новых звезд!)
Все хотят попасть в сборную России и принять участие в чемпионатах Европы и мира!
Российские рукоборцы с нетерпением ждут встречи со своими друзьями из стран Европы и мира!
Пусть победит сильнейший!

The ###V Russian Armwrestling Championship will bring together 500 of the strongest armwrestlers from 62 regions of the Russian Federation.

We are saddened by the passing of Gurban Gurbanov from Azerbaijan, WAF medalist and multiple National Champion.

A respected Masters athlete, he will be remembered for his dedication to our sport.

Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

The World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our dear colleague and friend, Charmaine Hooper, Chief Executive Officer of World Abilitysport.

From all our interactions over the years, we came to know Charmaine not only as a remarkable leader, but as a truly big-hearted person — always kind, always ready to help, and always putting athletes first. She was a source of strength, warmth, and inspiration for everyone around her, and a true role model within the global Para sport community.

Her dedication to Para sport and her unwavering commitment to fairness, inclusion, and opportunity have left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.

On behalf of the entire WAF family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband Jason, her family, friends, colleagues, and the entire World Abilitysport community.

She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to guide and inspire us.

🤍🕊️ Rest in peace, dear Charmaine.
