The assets of the foundation will be used primarily for the establishment, maintenance, and development of an American Library and Foreign Language Study Center, as well as for the achievement of the goals of the Foundation: to promote the development of Euro-Atlantic values; to support the efforts of the Republic of Bulgaria to attain a European-like level of public, political, and economic relat
ions; to confirm relations between the United States, serving as a model country for developed democracy and respect to human rights, and the Republic of Bulgaria; to demonstrate the advantages of the private sector in industry, healthcare, education, science, athletics, and the arts; to develop a free and competitive market and reduce state bureaucracy; to support inter-cultural integration, as well as the integration between generations and the inclusion of the elderly in public and cultural life.
