Grassroots програмата на Българския Футболен Съюз е насочена към деца, юноши, девойки и всички, които искат да бъдат част от Света на футбола. Ние се стремим да изградим условия за игра, механизми за развитие и да дадем шанс за равен достъп на всички до терена.
Считаме, че нашите деца са най-голямата ни ценност, затова сме насочили усилията си към всички социални групи подрастващи в страната. В
основата на нашите принципи стои равенство, етническа толерантност и защита на децата.
Считаме, че най-добрият начин да посеем основите на тези ценности в тях е съвместната им среща на терена, чрез различни социални игри и специални разработени педагогически похвати. Затова БФС се ангажира да работи активно за развитието на футболната игра сред подрастващите и от двата пола, чрез използването на най-популярния спорт като платформа и мощен инструмент за социална промяна.
Националната младежка програма на БФС е част от Grassroots хартата на УЕФА.

The national Grassroots’ Philosophy and Program comply and are in conformity with the basic legislative, program, normative and recommendable documents and policies in the field of the physical education and sports, developed in our country and by the European institutions, including FIFA and UEFA. In this connection the BFU and its institutional partners engage to work actively for the promotion and development of the grassroots activities among the non-elite groups: children, youth and veterans using the most popular sport as platform and strong instrument for social change. The main objective of the National grassroots philosophy and program is to create all necessary conditions and mechanisms for sustainable development of football among the children and young men and girls by ensuring of qualified possibilities for practicing the football game by all social and age groups of the rising generation in our country with a view to improving their health and social status, and establishing a productive system for the complete future development of the Bulgarian football.
