On behalf of the e-DIPLOMA project, InnoGrowth – The European Association of Innovation and Growth, in its role as coordinator of Work Package 6 (focused on developing policy recommendations for the integration of new technologies in education) was honored to take part in the first day of the 3 Sisters Horizon Europe Projects event — IANUS, POIESIS, and VERITY — under the theme: Building Supportive Policy Frameworks for Fostering Trust in Science.
The day focused on a crucial and timely theme: Trust in Science.
The event explored key questions such as:
How can we build, strengthen, and sustain trust in science through inclusive policy and public engagement?
Main topics included:
• How policy frameworks can effectively support trust in science
• The importance of collaboration between science and policy
• Practical tools for enhancing transparency, openness, and trust in science
It was an inspiring event, full of energy, diverse perspectives, and stimulating dialogue. We are excited about the outcomes and grateful for the opportunity to connect with like-minded initiatives that are shaping the future of science in society.
This event has undoubtedly sparked valuable ideas that will help us develop effective policy recommendations for the e-DIPLOMA project.
We're convinced that our approach — conducting brainstorming sessions at three distinct levels for the preparation of policy recommendations for the e-DIPLOMA project — is not only the right direction but — aligns well with the broader consensus: for science to be trusted, it must be participatory.
Stay tuned — exciting updates and insights from the e-DIPLOMA online brainstorming sessions are coming soon, as we transform the project’s research into actionable, meaningful policy recommendations for the successful integration of new technologies in education.
Tomorrow, we will continue to follow the event closely, drawing inspiration and enriching our approach with new ideas and valuable experiences
