ALTER Network / Сдружение "Алтер Нетуърк" “ALTER Network” is a Bulgarian non-governmental organization that provides educational opportunities for young people from all over Europe.

“ALTER Network” is a Bulgarian NGO that provides educational opportunities for young people across Europe and applies art-based methods in personal development, learning and business growth. What we do is create professional development opportunities for youth workers, educators and youth leaders on how to design a learning experience. We support youth workers and educators to develop engaging, playful and inclusive classes and workshops that create impact.

And the journey begins...

We are excited to officially launch our latest international youth exchange, funded by the Erasmus+ programme and a continuation from the previous edition last year. The project will bring together young people from across Europe for an inspiring journey of storytelling, self-discovery, cultural exchange, and connection with nature. 🌳

We are delighted to be working once again alongside our trusted international partners, whose dedication, professionalism, and shared values continue to make these learning experiences possible. ❤️

This project is particularly meaningful for us, as it marks the final yearly activity within our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation cycle. Reaching this milestone fills us with pride and gratitude. Over the past years, our accreditation has allowed us to create numerous opportunities for learning, creativity, international cooperation, and personal development for hundreds of people across Europe. Big appreciation for the support of our National Agency (HRDC) and Erasmus +. 🤝

✨ Day 5 of “8 Paths to Connection 2” ✨

We embraced spontaneity, creativity, and the courage to step into the unknown through the world of Improvisation. 🙋‍♂️
We focused on different Improv Methods, exploring how theater improvisation can help us build confidence, trust, emotional awareness, and authentic human connection. 🙆‍♀️

🎯 Focus of Day 5: **Improvisation (Improv Methods)**

🎭 Throughout the day, participants explored:
• Acceptance and reacting in the moment
• Spontaneity and creative thinking
• Commitment to ideas and characters
• Group improvisation and ensemble work
• Risk-taking and leaving the comfort zone
• Emotional range and expression

Through games, playfulnes, unexpected situations, and collective storytelling, the group learned to trust both themselves and each other. Participants discovered that improvisation is not about being perfect — it is about being present, listening, and saying “yes” to the moment. 🧩

The room was full of laughter, energy, imagination, and genuine connection — reminding us how powerful play and spontaneity can be. 🧡

✨ Day 5 of “8 Paths to Connection 2” ✨

Our fourth group of participants took the stage as facilitators, bringing a truly unique and imaginative experience to our Erasmus+ journey. 😍

Through active role-playing, creative rituals, and a playful “unga-bunga” atmosphere, participants stepped into a magical world filled with fictional creatures, spontaneous interaction, and collective storytelling. 🤗

The workshop encouraged everyone to let go of overthinking, embrace creativity, and connect through humor, movement, and shared imagination. 🤩

Another day, another group stepping into the role of facilitators, leading a workshop for everyone — connecting arts, inclusion, and personal experience. 🥰

🎭 Our third group guided the process with a gentle yet powerful approach, focusing on awareness, presence, and letting go.

Through their workshop, participants explored active relaxation and slowing down, body & partner awareness, active listening, breath, voice and more. The space transformed into one of calm, openness, and deep connection. Everyone were invited to pause, listen inward, and reconnect — not only with others, but with themselves. 🧡

We discovered the power of the voice and explored how we express ourselves, connect with others, and communicate beyond words.

From silence to strong expression, participants stepped out of their comfort zones and found new confidence in using their voice. The space was filled with energy, sound, and authentic moments of expression.

🌿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 | 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲

📍From 22 to 29 June, in collaboration with ALTER Network / Сдружение "Алтер Нетуърк" , we hosted a wonderful group of 25 young people at the Environmental Center of Ano Vrontou.

🍃In these six days, we walked the mountain paths and also the inner paths of communication, connection, and self-expression.

🎭Through active listening, improvisation games, and creative exercises, we explored what it means to tell and to truly hear a story. We invented fairy tales, shared personal narratives, and became storytellers, weaving our past, present, and imagination into one big story to be told around the fireplace.

🌀We learned through play, movement, and nature, creating space for emotions and for each other’s voices. Together, we even brought stories to life on stage in short plays and a vibrant musical multicultural night in the village.

🙏 Thank you to all the participants, the local community of Ano Vrontou, and everyone who poured their heart into making “The Roots of My Voice” a truly unique experience. 🎭 Театр як інструмент соціальних змін: досвід української молоді в Болгарії

Чи може перформанс стати способом боротьби із соціальною ізоляцією?
П’ятеро учасниць від нашої організації довели це на практиці під час молодіжного обміну Erasmus+ «8 Paths to Connection 2», що відбувся в місті Стара Загора, Болгарія 🇧🇬.

Протягом тижня Анастасія Паславська, Марина Поліщук, Дарія Коваленко, Катерина Осипенко та Аліна Полещук опановували вісім театральних методик: від фізичного театру та імпровізації до театру абсурду 🎬. Під керівництвом професійних акторів команда працювала над фінальною виставою, присвяченою реальним проблемам соціального виключення.

«Якщо життя — це сцена, я рада, що ми розділили її разом», — ділиться враженнями Дарія Коваленко.

Для кожної з дівчат цей досвід став кроком до особистої трансформації та відкриття нових способів самовираження 🌟.

Дякуємо приймаючій організації ALTER Network / Сдружение "Алтер Нетуърк" за змістовну програму та професійний супровід.

Досвід, здобутий у Старій Загорі, ще раз підтверджує: мистецтво не має кордонів і є одним із найефективніших засобів для побудови інклюзивного суспільства ❤️.

✨ Day 3 of “8 Paths to Connection 2” ✨

Our journey continues with a powerful focus on Speech and Vocal Skills — discovering the voice as a tool for expression, connection, and presence. Participants explored how we use our voice — not just to speak, but to communicate emotions, intentions, and stories. 📢 📣

🎯 Focus of Day 3: **Speech and Vocal Skills**

Through a series of dynamic and engaging exercises, we explored:
• Vocal techniques and projection
• Breath control and vocal flexibility
• Rhythm, pace, and timing in speech
• Tone, timbre, and emotional expression
• Finding confidence in using the voice

Through playful exercises, group work, and creative exploration, participants began to unlock new layers of their vocal potential — gaining confidence, clarity, and authenticity in the way they express themselves.

🌍 In an international environment, the voice became more than language — it became a bridge between cultures, emotions, and personal stories.
