🗣️На 27–28 март в University of National and World Economy (UNWE/УНСС) успешно се проведе международният хакатон SpaceHACK for Sustainability 2026. Основен организатор на събитието е Arizona State University, а съорганизатори от българска страна са Националната мрежа за решения за устойчиво развитие SDSN Bulgaria и PMI Bulgaria Chapter.

👥 Доц. д.н. Михаил Мусов – съпредседател на SDSN Bulgaria, откри събитието в България. Той поздрави участниците от името на проф. д-р Димитър Димитров – ректор на УНСС и съпредседател на SDSN Bulgaria, както и от свое име, като подчерта, че подобни инициативи, които изискват критично и аналитично мислене и стимулират разработването на иновативни решения на актуални обществени предизвикателства, изграждат студентите като отговорни и ангажирани бъдещи лидери.

👉🏻 В събитието се включиха над 500 студенти от пет университета: Arizona State University – САЩ, УНСС, CY Cergy Paris University – Франция, Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) и Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) – Еквадор, сред които и 25 студенти от УНСС.

🛰️През двата дни на международното състезание участниците използваха различни сателитни данни, за да търсят решения на проблеми, свързани с климатичните промени в Алпите, веригите за доставки с нулеви емисии и развитието на крайбрежните градове.

Join SpaceHACK for Sustainability 2026 on 27–28 March — in person at UNWE (Campus K) or online.

This international challenge, organised by Arizona State University, with SDSN Bulgaria and PMI Bulgaria as co-organisers, gives you the chance to:

🗣️Now available: The Europe Sustainable Development Report ( ) 2026!

Produced by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) SDG Transformation Center in collaboration with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), the provides the most comprehensive assessment of Europe’s performance on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals ( ).

The report, now in its 7th edition, shows that progress on the SDGs has stalled in Europe, with stagnation or even reversal on some environmental and socio-economic targets, and declining political prioritization of the SDGs within EU leadership. This year’s ESDR is also accompanied by a special foreword by Ambassador David Donoghue on the importance of EU Leadership on the SDGs, as well as expert contributions outlining concrete pathways to sustainability.
