WHO ARE WE:
We are a group of motivated high school students who are passionate about bringing a positive change in our communities and in the lives of people through empathy, generosity, tolerance and better communication. Engaging and participating in community service initiatives helps students to acquire knowledge, life skills and provide service to people who need it most. Community service a
nd volunteering gives young people the opportunity to develop awareness, a sense of responsibility and empathy towards their fellow human beings. It helps them become active members of their communities and creates a lasting positive societal impact. We at WRLO are committed to developing initiatives that lead to:
- Better communication between young people and communities
- Increased awareness of social and ecological issues facing our communities today
- Overcoming challenges through positive actions and mindsets
- Developing hard and soft skill sets that shape responsible citizens of tomorrow
