Sofia Expat Women’s Association - SEWA is a non-profit organization whose aims and objectives are to offer friendship and support to expat women living in Bulgaria, far from their native homeland. To promote understan
ding of Bulgaria's culture, traditions and life style. To introduce members to the culture, traditions and life styles of each other's countries. SEWA respects always the beliefs, traditions and customs of the countries and it
does not discriminate in any way, including on the basis of gender (other than this is
a women’s club, with women only members), sexual orientation, religious beliefs,
political affiliation or social status. All SEWA actions are entirely independent of politics and free of any conflicts of
interest. SEWA will refuse any donations from donors whose activities are
inconsistent with its objectives and values. SEWA is fully accountable to its donors, sponsors and as well as the public. SEWA
ensures full transparency regarding the origins of the funds and the ways where and
how the funds are used. SEWA must comply with all local laws applicable to its activities on behalf of an
Association and shall comply with all duties in an honest and ethical manner.
