Екологично образование и наследството на д-р Джейн Гудол
Environmental education has always been present in Australian schools, but rarely at the centre of how young people understand the world they are growing up in. It has existed at the edges of the curriculum, in elective units, in special projects, in the dedication of individual teachers who find a way to make space for it, rather than as a genuine core of learning that every child can access, regardless of which school they attend or which state they live in.
Education for Earth was built to change that.
It is a national platform for environmental education, free for every child in every Australian school, from preschool through to Year 12, across every state and every territory. It is term-long and curriculum-aligned, designed not as an add-on to existing learning but as a meaningful, structured program that builds knowledge, practical skills, and a lifelong relationship with the natural world.
It is the most ambitious initiative the Jane Goodall Institute Australia has ever undertaken.
