The Kick-Off meeting of “Green Horizon” is a fact! The meeting took place between 16-19 March 2026 and focused on "Green Solidarity" and the future of youth engagement. From deep dives into the New European Bauhaus to mapping out the European Green Deal, our team is aligning local action with EU-wide goals.

Highlights from the session:
- Youth Voice: A live debate with the SPORTSROOM Association where local youth tackled the pros and cons of climate action.
- Innovation: A co-design workshop where we brainstormed practical, youth-led green initiatives for the coming months.
- Strategy: Detailed planning for our upcoming "Project Guide" and a visit to the Educational and Olympic Center” at National Sports Academy “Vassil Levski” in Sofia, Bulgaria!

We’re not just talking about sustainability; we’re building the framework to make it happen.

We are pleased to announce the final steps of the (Un)Plugged project! 🚀

On December 4, 2025, I had the pleasure of representing SPORTSROOM as a guest lecturer at the Thematic Monitoring and Project Management Meeting, organised by the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC).

The opportunity to present in front of representatives from various organisations and to share good practices from projects managed by SPORTSROOM was both a responsibility and a genuine pleasure. During the session, I highlighted key approaches, lessons learned, and successful methodologies that our team has developed and applied in the implementation of European projects.

I would like to thank HRDC for the invitation and the trust. It is encouraging to see spaces where professional exchange truly brings value and contributes to better projects, stronger ideas, and more resilient communities. As SPORTSROOM, we remain committed to promoting quality, innovation, and meaningful impact in every initiative we lead.

From 13–16 November 2025, the SPORTSROOM team took part in the final transnational partners meeting and Final Conference of the Build it Together project, hosted in the historic city of Birgu, Malta, by the Birgu Local Council.

During the WP8 activities, SPORTSROOM presented its contribution to the project, including:
- practical insights and methodologies developed throughout the implementation;
- results achieved in working with local communities and young people;
- key lessons on sustainable local development and active civic participation.

The Final Conference marked the culmination of two years of cooperation among European partners. The event showcased the project’s impact, shared success stories, and opened discussions on sustainability and future collaboration opportunities.

SPORTSROOM expresses its gratitude to the Birgu Local Council for the excellent hosting and to all partners for their commitment, professionalism, and shared vision.

The project may be coming to an end, but the partnerships, knowledge, and inspiration built together will continue forward.

(Un)Plugged — Day 7: wrapping up with purpose and pride 🎓💪🇪🇺
Our final day brought reflection, growth, and celebration. We started with an interactive session on Erasmus+ and YouthPass 🌍—diving into how non-formal learning translates into real-life competences and opportunities for future youth projects. After a quick coffee break ☕, we turned inward with a Personal SWOT Analysis 🧭—a powerful moment to reflect on our own strengths, challenges, and next steps beyond the project.

Following lunch 🍽️, it was time for the Official Closing and YouthPass Ceremony 🎉—a heartfelt celebration of everything achieved during (Un)Plugged. The ceremony was hosted in the inspiring Olympic Educational Center of the National Sports Academy “Vassil Levski”, a fitting place to honor the spirit of teamwork, growth, and innovation that defined our journey.
To every participant, trainer, and partner—thank you for making this week unforgettable. 💙
