It was a pleasure to host Helène Visser (Foundation Director), Jackie Claydon (President) and Graham Claydon (Community Director) from Rotary Club of Blouberg (Kaapstad / Cape Town) these past few days, practice our Zuid Afrikaans and guide these lovely people around Plovdiv and the Rhodope Mountains. We look forward to our visit to your club in March 2027!

As spring renews the world around us, communities across traditions come together in celebration of hope, renewal, and freedom.

For our Christian friends, Easter marks a time of resurrection, compassion, and new beginnings. For those observing Passover, it is a powerful remembrance of liberation, resilience, and faith. Though rooted in different histories, these celebrations share enduring values that resonate deeply with the spirit of Rotary.

At Rotary Club Plovdiv International, we are guided by service above self, by solidarity with those in need, and by a commitment to building bridges across cultures and beliefs. This season reminds us that renewal is not only a natural cycle, but also a responsibility—to act with kindness, to support our communities, and to contribute to a more just and peaceful world.

May these days bring strength, inspiration, and unity to all. Let us continue to work together—across traditions and perspectives—to create lasting, positive change.

Warm wishes for a meaningful Easter and Passover.

Rotary leaders in action at PELS 2026 in Plovdiv 🇧🇬

This year’s President Elect Learning Seminar is bringing together dedicated president elects, secretary elects, and future club leaders from across the district for an intensive and inspiring experience.

PELS is not just training — it is where vision becomes strategy and where future rotary leaders build the skills, confidence, and connections needed for a successful year ahead.

From leadership development and effective club management to networking and collaboration, participants are preparing to strengthen their clubs and increase their impact in their communities.

A powerful reminder that strong leadership is the foundation of meaningful service.
