📸 We are sharing moments from the local training organized in Bansko, Bulgaria, from 13 to 17 July 2026 within the Empowering Youth for Equal Success project.

Throughout the training, participants worked together through interactive exercises, group discussions and practical activities related to youth employment, professional development, inclusion and equal access to opportunities.

Empowering Youth for Equal Success (EYES) project will be implemented by Youth European Society (YES) from Bulgaria in cooperation with Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) from Serbia, Beyond Borders from Italy, COSI from Romania and GO Alive from Greece. EYES project aims to increase awareness, advocate and offer equal employment opportunities for young people, especially young women and girls, youngsters from minorities, rural areas etc., while building the capacities and expertise of youth workers and the organizations and consortium.
Specific objectives: 1) To enhance the employability of young people, especially NEET youth and those from vulnerable groups by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to succeed in the labor market; 2) To strengthen the capacities of partner organizations and youth workers to continue supporting young people beyond the project’s lifespan; 3) To foster cross-sectoral cooperation and advocacy for improved employment policies by conducting research and producing evidence-based recommendations; 4) To establish local innovation hubs in 5 local communities of partners as part of sustainability strategy. EYES will implement the following main WPs: 1. Project management; 2. Research; 3. Capacity building activities - development of tools of youth workers to work with young people, especially youngsters with fewer opportunities; 4. Communication and advocacy activities. EYES will be done through a complementary approach with the support of all partners, using non-formal education and aiming practice-based learning, with activities in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania and Serbia in the period of 24 months, from 01.09.2025 to 31.08.2027. EYES project is financed by the EU.

🎬 Watch the aftermovie from the local training held in Bansko, Bulgaria, from 13 to 17 July 2026 within the Empowering Youth for Equal Success (EYES) project.

During the training course, participants took part in practical workshops, group activities and open discussions focused on youth employment, equal access to opportunities, personal and professional development, and the challenges young people face when entering the labour market.

Through non-formal education, teamwork and the exchange of experiences, the training created space for participants to develop useful skills, strengthen their confidence and explore ways to build a more inclusive labour market for all young people.

More than 360 young people from Serbia, Italy, Bulgaria, Cabo Verde, South Africa, and Tanzania took part in discussions on important topics affecting youth safety today - peer violence, cyberbullying, discrimination, psychoactive substance abuse, and reproductive health.

Through open exchange of experiences, opinions, and ideas, participants helped create a better understanding of the challenges young people face in their communities, both online and offline. Their responses and perspectives will serve as an important foundation for the further development of project activities, educational materials, and tools for young people and youth workers.
The Safebook Horizons project continues the idea of the Safebook manual and expands it into a new movement for promoting youth safety culture - from Europe to Sub-Saharan Africa.

The project is led by KOM 018 from Serbia, in partnership with Beyond Borders Italy, Youth European Society - YES from Bulgaria, Social Development Hub - SDH from Cabo Verde, Favelas SA from South Africa, and SIWoC from Tanzania.

🌍 Today we celebrate World Youth Skills Day 2026!
Celebrated under the theme “Skills for a Shared Future,” this day reminds us of the importance of investing in young people and supporting them in building the skills they need for the future.
Within the Youth Zone project, we are sharing promotional materials created to introduce young people to the 11 European Youth Goals and encourage them to learn more about the topics that matter for youth across Europe.
From inclusion and participation to digital transformation and mental health, the Youth Goals represent the voices and priorities of young people and serve as a reminder that their ideas and actions have the power to create change.

“Youth Zone” is the project implemented by Hate Fighters Network through 2-year framework partnership agreements to support Civil Society Cooperation in the field of Youth, Erasmus + in the period 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2027. Planned activities for the 2026 are structured around four thematic priorities: Human Rights and Inclusion; Safety and Well-being; Media and Digital Literacy; Active Youth Participation; and 2 transversal initiatives focused on EU programme promotion and volunteering. Network-level activities such as the Youth Zone Mentorship Programme, the annual planning meeting and the pilot volunteer exchange at the “Come to Amfi” festival will further strengthen cooperation, peer learning and capacity development within the network.
Activities will be organized through Hate Fighters Network in 12 European countries in the period of 12 months – 01/01/2026 to 31/12/2026. “Youth Zone” project is co-funded by the European Union

💻 Като част от проекта **Empowering Youth for Equal Success** бяха проведени две онлайн срещи в подкрепа на дейностите по проучване на младежката заетост.

Първата среща беше организирана като онлайн обучение, по време на което 15 младежки работници от партньорските организации придобиха необходимите знания и умения за провеждане на проучването и изготвяне на националните доклади.

Втората среща се проведе в края на работния пакет и беше насочена към оценка и обсъждане на националните доклади, както и на сравнителния анализ, разработен в рамките на проекта.

Проектът Empowering Youth for Equal Success (EYES) ще бъде реализиран от Сдружение „Младежко европейско общество“ (YES) от България в партньорство с Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) от Сърбия, Beyond Borders от Италия, COSI от Румъния и GO Alive от Гърция. 💻 As part of the Empowering Youth for Equal Success project, two online meetings were held in support of the youth employment research activities.
The first meeting was organized as an online training, during which 15 youth workers from partner organizations were equipped with the skills needed to conduct the survey and prepare national reports.
The second meeting took place at the end of the work package and focused on the evaluation and discussion of the national reports, as well as the comparative analysis developed within the project.

📊 Представяме Сравнителния анализ, разработен в рамките на проекта Empowering Youth for Equal Success (EYES).

Въз основа на гласа на 750 млади хора от пет държави — България, Гърция, Италия, Румъния и Сърбия — докладът представя по-задълбочен поглед върху реалностите, предизвикателствата и възможностите пред младежката заетост в различни национални контексти.

📊 We are presenting the Comparative Analysis developed within the Empowering Youth for Equal Success project.

We are happy to announce that the Graffiti ABC: A Guide to Combat Hate Speech has been developed and is now available for young activists, youth workers, campaigners, educators, artists and everyone interested in using creative methods to promote inclusion and stand against hate speech.

The guidebook was created as an educational and practical tool that explores how graffiti and street art can be used as powerful forms of youth expression, activism and awareness-raising. It provides young people and youth workers with knowledge, inspiration and practical guidance on how to use graffiti art in campaigns that promote diversity, tolerance, solidarity and respect.

Inside the guidebook, readers can find content on the history and significance of graffiti in activism, practical instructions on graffiti techniques, drawing graffiti letters, using stencils, spray paint and paste-up techniques, as well as safety guidelines and ethical and legal considerations when creating art in public spaces. The publication also includes examples of successful graffiti-based campaigns and stencil ideas that can be used in future actions.

The design and layout of the guidebook were developed to be engaging, accessible and youth-friendly, making it suitable for use in trainings, workshops, campaigns, youth work activities and creative public actions.

Graffiti ABC: A Guide to Combat Hate Speech is available in five languages: English, Serbian, Bosnian, Albanian and Italian.

Youth Centre Perspektiva from Albania together with its partners Hate Fighters Network (HFN) from Serbia, Beyond Borders from Italy and Obojena Klapa from Bosnia and Herzegovina implements a capacity building project “Creative Canvas” to tackle issues of discrimination, hate speech, cyberviolence and gender-based discrimination and violence through creative tools and methods in work with young people. The main aim of the project is separated in two dimensions: a) identifying, consolidating and promoting existing best practices of using art as a tool for activism; and b) creating and enabling an environment to develop new approaches to countering, preventing and fighting cyberbullying, hate speech, discrimination and gender-based violence. Creative Canvas project will be implemented from November 2025 to October 2027, with activities in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Serbia. Creative Canvas project is co-financed by the European Union.
