Empowering Youth for Equal Success (EYES) project will be implemented by Youth European Society (YES) from Bulgaria in cooperation with Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) from Serbia, Beyond Borders from Italy, COSI from Romania and GO Alive from Greece. EYES project aims to increase awareness, advocate and offer equal employment opportunities for young people, especially young women and girls, youngsters from minorities, rural areas etc., while building the capacities and expertise of youth workers and the organizations and consortium.

Specific objectives: 1) To enhance the employability of young people, especially NEET youth and those from vulnerable groups by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to succeed in the labor market; 2) To strengthen the capacities of partner organizations and youth workers to continue supporting young people beyond the project’s lifespan; 3) To foster cross-sectoral cooperation and advocacy for improved employment policies by conducting research and producing evidence-based recommendations;
4) To establish local innovation hubs in 5 local communities of partners as part of sustainability strategy.

EYES will be done through a complementary approach with the support of all partners, using non-formal education and aiming practice-based learning, with activities in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania and Serbia in the period of 24 months, from 01.09.2025 to 31.08.2027. EYES project is financed by the EU.

🇪🇺 Study Visit to Brussels | 7–10 October 2026
As part of the project, a study visit to Brussels, during which we had opportunity to explore the work of European institutions and discuss key issues shaping young people’s future across Europe.
The main topics included equal employment opportunities for young people, European policies, diplomacy, and the role of women in leadership.

We learned from each other, shared experiences and grew together!
Through the Youth Zone Mentorship Training, youth workers and mentors connected, developed new skills and strengthened cooperation across our network.

“Youth Zone” is the project implemented by Hate Fighters Network through 2-year framework partnership agreements to support Civil Society Cooperation in the field of Youth, Erasmus + in the period 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2027. Planned activities for the 2026 are structured around four thematic priorities: Human Rights and Inclusion; Safety and Well-being; Media and Digital Literacy; Active Youth Participation; and 2 transversal initiatives focused on EU programme promotion and volunteering. Network-level activities such as the Youth Zone Mentorship Programme, the annual planning meeting and the pilot volunteer exchange at the “Come to Amfi” festival will further strengthen cooperation, peer learning and capacity development within the network.

Activities will be organized through Hate Fighters Network in 12 European countries in the period of 12 months – 01/01/2026 to 31/12/2026. “Youth Zone” project is co-funded by the European Union

От 2 до 4 септември 2026 г. в Орта Нова, Италия, се проведе междинната среща по проект EYES – Empowering Youth for Equal Success, домакинствана от Beyond Borders Italy.

Срещата събра представители на всички партньорски организации от консорциума, които заедно направиха преглед на постигнатото до момента, обсъдиха изпълнените дейности, обмениха обратна връзка и планираха следващите етапи от проекта.

🤝 Междинната среща беше важна възможност да оценим напредъка си като екип, да координираме предстоящите дейности и да продължим общата си работа за повече равни възможности за младите хора в Европа.

През следващите месеци EYES продължава с job shadowing дейности, учебна визита в Брюксел, местни кариерни изложения и информационна кампания за повишаване на осведомеността.

Проектът Empowering Youth for Equal Success (EYES) ще бъде реализиран от Сдружение „Младежко европейско общество“ (YES) от България в партньорство с Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) от Сърбия, Beyond Borders от Италия, COSI от Румъния и GO Alive от Гърция. Целта на проекта EYES е да повиши информираността, да насърчи застъпничеството и да осигури равни възможности за заетост на младите хора, особено на младите жени и момичета, младежи от малцинства, от селски райони и други уязвими групи, като същевременно развива капацитета и експертизата на младежките работници и организациите в консорциума. Специфични цели са: 1) Повишаване на пригодността за заетост на младите хора, особено на младежи извън образование, заетост и обучение (NEET), както и на уязвими групи, чрез предоставяне на умения, знания и ресурси, необходими за успешна реализация на пазара на труда; 2) Укрепване на капацитета на партньорските организации и младежките работници, за да продължат да подкрепят младите хора и след приключване на проекта; 3) Насърчаване на междуотраслово сътрудничество и застъпничество за подобряване на политиките за заетост чрез провеждане на изследвания и формулиране на препоръки, основани на доказателства; 4) Създаване на местни иновационни хъбове в петте партньорски общности като част от стратегията за устойчивост.
Проектът EYES ще реализира следните основни работни пакети: 1) Управление на проекта; 2) Изследвания; 3) Дейности за изграждане на капацитет – разработване на инструменти за младежки работници за работа с млади хора, особено с младежи с по-малко възможности; 4) Комуникационни и застъпнически дейности.
Проектът ще се изпълнява чрез допълващ подход с подкрепата на всички партньори, използвайки неформално образование и ориентирайки се към учене чрез практика. Дейностите ще се проведат в България, Гърция, Италия, Румъния и Сърбия за период от 24 месеца – от 01.09.2025 до 31.08.2027. Проектът EYES се финансира от Европейския съюз.

From 2 to 4 September 2026, the Mid-Term Evaluation Meeting of EYES – Empowering Youth for Equal Success took place in Orta Nova, Italy, hosted by Beyond Borders Italy.

The meeting brought together representatives of all partner organisations in the consortium to review the progress achieved so far, evaluate the activities already implemented, exchange feedback and coordinate the next stages of the project.

🤝 The meeting provided an important opportunity to assess our joint progress, strengthen coordination among the partners and continue our common work towards creating more equal opportunities for young people across Europe.

Over the coming months, EYES will continue with job shadowing activities, a study visit to Brussels, local career fairs and a raise-awareness campaign.

From 7 to 12 August 2026, Niš, Serbia hosted the International Training and Football Tournament, organized by Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018). The event brought together young football players, coaches, and supporters for non-formal education workshops focused on sportsmanship, conflict resolution, diversity, inclusion, combating hate speech, fair play, and mutual respect. Participants represented Youth European Society (YES) from Bulgaria, Barcel’hona Sport Events from Spain, JuvenTagus – Associação Desportiva e Juvenil from Portugal, Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica TIQUITACA FOOTBALL from Italy, Futbolen Klub Septemvri from Bulgaria, ŽFK Mašinac from Serbia, and FC Nacional from Serbia.
The program also included an International Football Tournament, giving participants an opportunity to put the values and skills developed during the training into practice on the football field. Through sport, teamwork, and intercultural exchange, the event strengthened connections between participants from different countries and encouraged them to become ambassadors of fair play, inclusion, sportsmanship, and mutual respect in their clubs and local communities.

Pass a Ball, Make a Friend project aims to address the escalating conflicts and hate speech among local football teams, which have led to physical fights. Project will address these challenges by using football as a platform to combat hate speech, reduce physical conflicts and promote social inclusion. By promoting peaceful sportsmanship, "Pass a Ball, Make a Friend" not only improves relationships within football teams but also sets an example for broader community cohesion and understanding. The activities of the "Pass a Ball" project will be carried out in Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, Serbia and Spain over a period of 24 months, from 01.11.2025 to 31.10.2027. The project is co-financed by the European Union.


От 7 до 12 август 2026 г. в Ниш, Сърбия, се проведоха Международно обучение и футболен турнир, организирани от Клуб за овластяване на младежи 018 (KOM 018).

Събитието събра млади футболисти, треньори и привърженици, които участваха в неформални образователни работилници, посветени на спортсменството, разрешаването на конфликти, многообразието, приобщаването, борбата с езика на омразата, честната игра и взаимното уважение.

Участниците представляваха Младежко европейско общество (YES) от България, Barcel’hona Sport Events от Испания, JuvenTagus – Associação Desportiva e Juvenil от Португалия, Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica TIQUITACA FOOTBALL от Италия, Футболен клуб „Септември“ от България, ŽFK Mašinac от Сърбия и FC Nacional от Сърбия.

Програмата включваше и Международен футболен турнир, който даде възможност на участниците да приложат на практика на футболния терен ценностите и уменията, придобити по време на обучението.

Чрез спорта, работата в екип и междукултурния обмен събитието укрепи връзките между участниците от различни държави и ги насърчи да бъдат посланици на честната игра, приобщаването, спортсменството и взаимното уважение в своите клубове и местни общности.

Да се намалят физическите конфликти чрез обучение по разрешаване на спорове и честна игра, като вниманието се насочи към духа на спорта;
Да се развият лидерски умения у младите футболисти и фенове, които да станат посланици на спортменството в своите отбори и общности;
Да се повиши осведомеността относно проблемите с конфликтите и речта на омразата сред местните футболни отбори и техните привърженици;
Да се насърчи социалното включване чрез стимулиране на диалог и сътрудничество между различни отбори, фенове и членове на местните общности, като по този начин се разрушават стереотипите и предразсъдъците.
Проектът ще бъде реализиран в България, Италия, Португалия, Сърбия и Испания в рамките на 24 месеца — от 01.11.2025 до 31.10.2027 г.

⚽ Проектът „Pass a Ball, Make a Friend“ събра участници от различни държави за международно обучение и футболен турнир, съчетавайки ученето с това, което ги свързва най-силно – футбола.

Чрез работилници, основани на методите на неформалното образование, и практически ситуации от футболната среда младите играчи, привържениците и треньорите разгледаха теми като спортсменство, разрешаване на конфликти, многообразие, приобщаване и противодействие на езика на омразата в спорта.

След това обучението се пренесе на футболния терен, където участниците имаха възможност да приложат на практика принципите на честната игра, екипната работа и взаимното уважение по време на международния турнир. ⚽🤝

⚽ The Pass a Ball, Make a Friend project brought participants together for an International Training and Football Tournament, combining learning with what connects them most - football.
Through non-formal education workshops and practical football scenarios, young players, supporters, and coaches explored sportsmanship, conflict resolution, diversity, inclusion, and ways to tackle hate speech in sport.
The training then moved onto the pitch, where participants had the chance to put fair play, teamwork, and mutual respect into practice during the international tournament. ⚽🤝

The activities of the "Pass a Ball" project will be carried out in Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, Serbia and Spain over a period of 24 months, from 01.11.2025 to 31.10.2027. Today, on International Youth Day, we’re putting the spotlight on something every young person should know more about - the opportunities available to them across Europe.

From youth exchanges and DiscoverEU to studying, volunteering, sport and international learning experiences, there are many ways to step outside your everyday routine, meet new people and build skills along the way.
