Not all coliving stories start with a business plan. Some start with a garden, a cat named Rayla, and a deep love for community, quiet mornings, and small everyday rituals.

What if slowing down was the dream?

On September 17th, we're sitting down with Bianca Gostin, founder of , a cozy countryside retreat in Nachamps, France. She created a beautiful French country house with an enchanted garden, an enormous bookshelf, art, and little corners full of history, where a small tight-knit community can breathe, create, and feel at home. 🌸

Come hear how it all came to life, straight from her.

Tomorrow, Morgane Oléron will be talking about something I think a lot of coliving founders can relate to: the difference between being a coliver and actually running a coliving.

https://www.colivinghub.co/events-1/from-coliver-to-coliving-owner-when-dreams-come-true

Because the dream is beautiful: you create a home, you bring interesting people together. You organise dinners, events, conversations. You build a community.
And then reality arrives: laundry, broken pipes, 100 unread Slack messages, WiFi problems, cleaners who don’t show up, questions you’ve answered approximately 47 times, mediation, dog p**p and more laundry. 😂

Most of us started as colivers because we loved what coliving gave us. But running the place yourself is a completely different experience.

Tomorrow, Morgane Oléron is going to have a very honest conversation about that gap between “I want to run a coliving” and “oh… so THIS is what running a coliving actually means.”

If you’re thinking about starting one, already running one, or somewhere in between, come join us.

You can hear the energy but you had to be in the room to actually feel it 🌟

This is about sharing how we are different but sharing a heartbeat. We came from different corners of the world, and are leaving as a chosen family. The fu**up nights, the shared challenges and the beautiful intention to help each other succeed in coliving.

To everyone who screamed "COLIVING" (even those who couldn't be in the pic): thank you for bringing your whole authentic selves.

To everyone else...there will be a next time.
You wouldn't want to miss that 🥰

The next big revenue driver for coliving? Corporate clients.

Companies are no longer just allowing remote work. They are actively funding team offsites, retreats, and corporate workations. For coliving operators, this is a massive opportunity to fill beds during low seasons and boost average booking values.

But what do corporate HR departments actually look for? How do you pass their legal and compliance checks?

Find out in our upcoming webinar with Coliving Hub:
👉 Beyond Digital Nomads: Winning Corporate Clients for Your Coliving

We are excited to host Bjarne Zumholte and Joline Niewöhner, founders of wemote. Combining their backgrounds in business development and HR, they help companies seamlessly organize compliant team travel.

What you will learn:
- What companies look for in a location.
- Where corporate planners search for venues.
- How to position your space for team bookings.

A little reminder that our next free webinar it's on May 21st we'll be joined by Javi Boquete, who will talk about something we don't discuss nearly enough in the coliving world: what happens when you bring this model to a rural village, and what it can mean for communities that are quietly losing people.

It's a conversation about coliving, but also about belonging, place, and what remote work can give back.

📅 Thursday, May 21 | 2:00–3:00 PM | Zoom | Free

If you've been on the fence about the Coliving Gathering, let us walk you through what's actually happening.

Day 1 kicks off with a Rapid Coliving Pitch, where founders and operators share their concepts and get immediate feedback from the room. Then comes F*ck Up Night: honest stories from people who've been building in this industry. The failed launches, the empty rooms, the partnerships gone wrong. Real lessons, no filters. And yes, dinner after at a cozy restaurant in Bansko.

Day 2 goes deep. A 3-hour Coliving Mastermind in small curated groups working through real challenges: occupancy and pricing, community design, partnerships, scaling, operations. You don't just listen. You contribute. Then an afternoon brainstorming session where new coliving ideas actually start taking shape. Another dinner to keep the conversations going.

Day 3 closes with a coliving site visit. Because sometimes you need to see it, not just talk about it.

This is not a conference. There are no panels where you sit and take notes and go home with a LinkedIn connection you'll never message.

It's a working gathering, in the mountains, alongside Bansko Nomad Fest, one of the world's largest nomad events.

Tickets are €125. Grab yours before they're gone

A little reminder that our next free webinar is coming up on April 23rd!

We'll be joined by Oleksandra, co-founder of Nesting Away and Taste Remote, who will share what she's learned about building a coliving that works on both sides: the operations and the community.

If you've ever felt like you're juggling two very different businesses under one roof, this one's for you.

Some of the most valuable things you will hear at Coliving Gathering are the stories people do not usually tell in public.
The launch that did not go as planned. The community dynamics nobody warned you about. The pricing model that had to be rebuilt from scratch.

We create space for those conversations at Coliving Gathering in Bansko this June, because that is where the real learning happens. And that is also where you realise you are not alone in this.

If you want to make a full week of it, grab the Combo Ticket. We will be at Bansko Nomad Fest too, right before and after the gathering. Combo tickets are available until May 1st.
