Month 9/10: September you were busy, sweaty and ridiculously full of love ❤️

We ran (a lot), we puzzled and side hustled and plotted our next moves. Two of us even got married!

Honestly, no notes.

Bit of snow on the top of the mountain and now we’re all fantasising about this Winter season ❄️

Bring it on!

🍰 ON YOUR MARKS. GET SET. BAKE.

The Great Bansko Bake Off returns Friday 9th October and once again we’re asking the people of Bansko to put their baking skills and massive egos on the line.

Our returning VIP judge James from James Hughes will be judging taste, texture, appearance and creativity, with prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

PLUS, for the first time, the cake-eating public gets some power too with our new People’s Choice Award!

🍰 Baking? FREE entry.
❤️ Altspace member? FREE entry.
☕ Coming to eat/judge? €5 including tea or coffee.

Then once the winners have been crowned, we’ll roll directly into Friday Beers because competitive cake eating is thirsty work 🍻 (Non-members BYOB as usual).

Everyone needs to register for a ticket this time, even members and bakers. All the baker rules & full details are on the booking page.

🎉 Friday 9th October, 18:00, Altspace Central

🎟️ Tickets via the link in bio or here:

Please bake responsibly. And remember: buying a cake and aggressively removing the packaging before you arrive does not count ❤️

Well now this is just getting out of hand…

…we opened a coworking space, and now people are getting bloody MARRIED ❤️

Last Friday, our lovely Svetlana Chalova & Vlad made it official, and because apparently getting married wasn’t enough excitement for one day, they threw a massive party at Altspace afterwards 🥂

I was extremely inconsiderately on holiday and missed the whole thing, so naturally I outsourced photography duties to the wide community (thanks travelfilmingart 🙏)

And just look at them 🥹

This is the stuff!! Not the desks or the WiFi or the coffee. Watching people arrive, find their people and build whole lives here and getting to be a part of their story along the way!

Congratulations you lovely pair 🥰

10/10 community lore unlocked.

*Next person who gets married while I’m on holiday is getting fined!

I asked a few Altspacers to finish one sentence.

No context, hints or bribery…as you can tell from the final slide 😅

“I originally joined Altspace for ______, but I stayed because ______.”

Turns out the WiFi was never really the point, was it?

That’s Altspace 🩵
