They are working with two project partners, Handicap Solidaire Burkina (HSB) and Djigui Espoir. HSB is an organisation which focuses on promoting the rights of those with disabilities through sport, education and artisansh
ip. The services offered by HSB include: a Drop-in Centre providing specialist advice to disabled people and their families; the only free-of-charge education centre for disabled children in Ouagadougou; and an extensive sports programme for disabled people of all ages. Djigui Espoir works for the empowerment of women with disabilites through the fabrication of cereals and soya products.

The third group of International Service volunteers worked with their partner organisation, Tigoung Nonma, from January to April 2012. Tigoung Nonma is a cooperative created by and for artisans with a disability. The aim of the cooperative is to improve the living conditions of its members but also to work on raising awarness of the situation many people with a disability find themselves in in Burkina. Tigoung Nonma has 64 members with specialized skills in arts and crafts including leatherwork, dressmaking, woodwork, painting and tapestry. In addition, a kiosk and traiteur service was recently started in an effort to generate more income for the cooperative to support its members. The second International Service cohort worked in Burkina from September until December 2011 with Kabeela, a women's organisation based in Ziniare, 35 km north of Ouagadougou.
