We join the UN family in honouring Rafeeuddin Ahmed, a beacon of the United Nations.
For over three decades, he served with integrity and strength, championing tourism and helping guide our transformation into a UN Specialized Agency in 2003.
His legacy endures.
May he rest in peace.

The crescent moon has been sighted. Ramadan has begun 🌙

Did you know?
The exact start of Ramadan isn’t fixed to a calendar date, it begins when the new crescent moon is physically sighted. That’s why some countries may start on slightly different days each year.

A month that softens the noise and sharpens what truly matters.
From dawn to sunset, patience becomes strength. Reflection becomes clarity. Giving becomes habit.

May this Ramadan bring light to your homes, purpose to your days, and calm to your nights. ✨
