Dear Toastmasters Club Members,

As I conclude my term as President for 2025-2026, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to you.

This year has been defined by growth, learning, and fellowship. I thank all members, the club, area, and division committees, as well as every guest and visitor, for their commitment and support.

Thanks to your dedication, we held twenty-five (25) meetings instead of the required twenty-four (24). Our participation in afterworks and the District 130 Conference in Libreville allowed us to proudly represent Trade Star and earned us the “President’s Award.”

I am proud to announce that we have officially achieved the “Smedley Distinction” with twenty-eight (28) members validated on the dashboard.

I am handing over my duties with full confidence to the team that will assume responsibility this evening. I am certain they will continue to pursue the Club’s individual and collective goals with energy.

Thank you again for the trust you placed in me over the past twelve (12) months.

Passing the Torch, Lighting the Future!

On Monday, June 22, 2026, Trade Star Club proudly held its 25th and final session of the 2025–2026 term under the theme “Passing the Torch, Lighting the Future.”

The session featured important announcements, including the upcoming Gala Dinner on June 27 and the club’s continued pursuit of the prestigious Smedley Award. We were also delighted to welcome two new members, Fhatim Aniella Ouedraogo and Ben Idrissa Coulibaly, into the Trade Star family.
The educational segment showcased an engaging Table Topics session led by Angèle Bambio, as well as an inspiring Icebreaker speech delivered by incoming President Ariane Bado. The evaluation team, led by Dieudonné Kaboré, provided valuable feedback that reflected the excellence of the club.

The evening also included the election of Edmond Sawadogo as Secretary, the presentation of certificates of appreciation to dedicated leaders and members, and a heartfelt farewell message from outgoing President Sayda Drabo and her Executive Committee.

A key highlight was the official installation of the new Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 term by Area 8 Director Judith Somda. The session concluded with an inspiring address from incoming President Ariane Bado, who shared her vision for the year ahead.

We sincerely thank all guests, visitors, officers, and Distinguished Toastmasters whose presence made this final session truly memorable.

See you on July 6, 2026, for the first session of the new term. The torch has been passed, and the future shines brighter than ever!
