Good Morning Dear Members, Guests, and Visitors,
On Monday, March 16th, 2026, the Trade Star Toastmasters Club held its nineteenth session under the inspiring theme “Speak Boldly.”
The session took place at the Fortune Building, in an atmosphere that encouraged confidence, expression, and bold communication.
The session opened with the welcome of guests, followed by the Welcome Address, participant introductions, and administrative announcements delivered by our President, Sayda DRABO.
The Thought of the Day, shared by Jonathan KABRE, reminded us through Maggie Kuhn’s words:
“Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes.”
The Word of the Day was PROMINENT, meaning something that stands out and is easily noticeable.
The meeting was smoothly guided by the Toastmaster of the Day, Ariane BADO, ensuring a dynamic and well-structured flow throughout the program.
During the Educational Phase, Dieudonné KABORE introduced the evaluation objectives and team, composed of:
Serge Henri ILBOUDO as Ah-Counter
Sayda DRABO as Grammarian
Tania ILBOUDO as Timer
The Table Topics Session, led by Edmond SAWADOGO, encouraged participants to speak boldly and confidently.
The session featured four prepared speeches delivered by:
Nathalie OUEDRAOGO, Alassane SOULAMA and Jonathan KABRE, each demonstrating growth and commitment in their Pathways journey.
During the Evaluation Phase, constructive feedback was provided by:
Gilles WANOGO, who evaluated Nathalie OUEDRAOGO
Mamadou SANOGO, who evaluated Alassane SOULAMA
Eric KONDIA, who evaluated Jonathan KABRE
The session concluded with the Timer’s Report, the General Evaluator’s Report by Dieudonné KABORE, Guests’ Impressions, and Closing Remarks delivered by President Sayda DRABO, followed by the traditional Family Photo, capturing the spirit of the session.
