🌱 Next Stop: Brussels!

Following the inspiring activities carried out in Wrocław as part of the Plog Art Heroes project, our European journey continues with another exciting milestone focused on learning, collaboration, and environmental action.

🇧🇪 On 14 November 2026, a team from MoveBe VZW will gather in Brussels for an activity dedicated to environmental awareness, active citizenship, and the promotion of more sustainable lifestyles.

🤝 This meeting will provide an opportunity to:

✅ share the results, achievements, and lessons learned throughout the project;
✅ showcase the initiatives developed by project partners within their local communities;
✅ exchange ideas, experiences, and good practices related to sustainability, community engagement, and local action;
✅ strengthen cooperation among participating organisations and encourage future collaborations;
✅ explore new and innovative ways to inspire citizens to adopt more environmentally responsible behaviours.

🌍 Through the KA210 Erasmus+ project Plog Art Heroes, co-funded by the European Union, we continue to demonstrate that small actions can lead to meaningful change. By combining physical activity, creativity, community involvement, and environmental responsibility, the project encourages everyone to become an active contributor to a cleaner and greener future.

✨ The Brussels event will be another valuable opportunity to learn from one another, share inspiring experiences, and turn ideas into concrete actions that support a more sustainable, inclusive, and environmentally conscious Europe.

💚 Together, let’s continue making sustainability, European cooperation, and active citizenship living values within our communities.

💙💛 The project aims to help Ukrainian adults better understand the European Union, its values, institutions, and democratic processes, while strengthening their participation in local communities and European society.

✅ Learn more about the history and functioning of the European Union.
✅ Develop civic and digital competences
✅ Discover opportunities for active participation in democratic life

These photographs and this video were captured on 9 August 2026, during the final activity of the mobility held in Poland, within the framework of the Plog Art EU Heroes project, an initiative developed under the Erasmus+ KA210 – Small-Scale Partnerships in Adult Education programme and co-funded by the European Union.

🤝🇪🇺 The project brings together three European organisations: Fundacja Planet Heroes (Poland), Systeme in Bewegung e.V. (Germany), and MoveBE VZW (Belgium), which joined forces to promote environmental sustainability 🌱, social inclusion 🤗, active citizenship 🗳️, and European cooperation 🌍 through the practice of plogging 🏃‍♀️♻️🏃‍♂️.

🌳🌿 During the activity in Poland, participants took part in plogging actions across green spaces and riverside areas 🌊, collecting litter from nature 🗑️ and reflecting on the environmental challenges that affect our communities. This experience combined physical activity 💪, environmental education 🌍📚, intercultural exchange 🤝🌎, and civic engagement 👥, reinforcing participants’ commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

🎨♻️ One of the most meaningful moments of the event was the transformation of the collected waste into works of art. The materials recovered during the clean-up activities were creatively reused to produce artistic pieces carrying a strong environmental message 🌍💚. This initiative demonstrated that items often considered rubbish can be given a new purpose through imagination, creativity, and artistic expression.

🌱🔄 The main objective was not simply to create artworks but to raise awareness about waste reduction, recycling ♻️, the circular economy 🔄, and more sustainable lifestyles 🌍. The resulting creations encourage the public to reflect on excessive consumption 🛍️ and on the responsibility each of us shares in protecting our planet 🌎❤️.

🎭🖌️ The video also highlights the participation of Belgian multidisciplinary artist Vanparijs, member of the MoveBE VZW delegation 🇧🇪. His artistic contribution played a key role in transforming the collected materials into inspiring pieces of art. Through his work, art becomes a powerful tool for communication 📢, environmental awareness 🌿, and positive behavioural change 🌍✨.

💚🤝🌍 The artworks symbolise the collective effort of participants from the three partner countries and demonstrate the positive impact that European cooperation can generate within local communities. By combining physical activity 🏃, environmental action ♻️, creativity 🎨, and international collaboration 🤝🇵🇱🇩🇪🇧🇪, this activity conveyed a simple but powerful message:

💚 "Every small action matters, and every person can contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive future." 🌍♻️🤗
📚🌱 Beyond its environmental benefits, the activity promoted the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities 🤗, intercultural dialogue 🌏, non-formal learning 📖, the development of green skills 🌿, and the strengthening of European values 🇪🇺 such as solidarity ❤️, democratic participation 🗳️, and social responsibility 🤝.

✨🌍 The Plog Art EU Heroes project demonstrates how education 📚, volunteering 🙌, art 🎨, environmental action ♻️, and international cooperation 🤝 can come together to create meaningful and lasting positive change for people, communities, and the planet. 🌎💚🇪🇺

🌿 Plogging in Wrocław – a day for nature! 🇵🇱💚
Erasmus+ ka210 cofinanced by Eu - Project Plog Art Heroes.
Today we had a very special activity along the Oder River in Wrocław, in a green area near the Zoo.
With our high-visibility vests, bags, and plenty of enthusiasm to contribute, we came together for a plogging session, combining physical activity, environmental awareness, and community participation.
🧤 We collected waste
🌱 We took care of green spaces
♻️ We promoted more sustainable behaviours
🤝 We worked as a team
💚 We showed that small actions can have a big impact
More than just picking up litter, plogging is a way of caring for our environment while building relationships and learning together.
Today, Wrocław became a little cleaner — and we certainly became more aware of the importance of protecting the spaces we share. 🌍
Together for a cleaner Europe! 🇪🇺💚

🌍♻️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Heb jij al gehoord van plogging? 💚🌱

Elke kleine actie telt!

PLANET HEROES (Polen 🇵🇱),)
Systeme in Bewegung e.V. (Duitsland 🇩🇪)
