World number one! 🇧🇪

Dries Degrieck writes Belgian driving history as the new FEI world number one in Four-in-Hand Driving.

After World Cup glory in Bordeaux, individual silver and team bronze in Aachen, he now reaches the very top of the world ranking.

A historic first for Belgian driving. Congratulations, Dries! 👏

A new week, new arenas and plenty of Belgian flags to follow! 🇧🇪

One of this week’s biggest highlights takes us to Le Lion d’Angers, where our Belgian eventing combinations line up for the World Championships for Young Horses. And with Lara de Liedekerke-Meier heading there to defend her title, and maybe add another one, there is plenty to look forward to.

There is also plenty of top-level showjumping ahead, with Belgian athletes competing at several international venues, including the CSI5-W in El Jadida* and the CSI5 in Tryon*. Our jumpers will also be in action in Beijing, Gassin – St Tropez, Kronenberg, Leeuwarden, Oliva, Herning and more.

Dressage is on the programme as well, with Belgian combinations heading to Herning.

And now that the Lotto Year of the Horse has officially taken off, don't forget to go and have a look at https://www.flandersjumping2027.com/jaar-van-het-paard/activiteiten to see which activities or on the agenda in the coming weeks!

The outdoor season isn’t over just yet! This week, Team Belgium heads to Rabat 🇲🇦 for the CSIO4-W*, with another Nations Cup on the programme and another chance to cheer on our Red Musketeers. 🔥

So keep that Belgian flag close… the Red Musketeers still need you! 🖤💛❤️

Plenty of Belgian flags to cheer for this week!

The showjumping season moves up a gear with the first FEI Jumping World Cup leg of the season in Oslo. Our Belgian jumping athletes will also be in action at the Global Champions Tour in Rome, the Nations Cup in Rabat and, of course, on home soil in Lier.

But there is much more to follow this week. Our dressage musketeers are heading to Leeuwarden and Troisdorf, while the eventing riders will compete in Strzegom. In endurance, Belgian combinations are set to take on Buch and Lignières, with distances ranging from 100 km to 160 km.

Team Belgium takes 3rd place in the Longines League of Nations Final in Barcelona! 🇧🇪

There was no catching Germany today, but our Red Musketeers delivered a strong performance to secure a well-deserved podium finish.

A special mention for Pieter Devos, who jumped a brilliant double clear, and Abdel Saïd, who did not touch a pole throughout the competition.

Proud of this team: Abdel Saïd, Emilie Conter, Niels Bruynseels, Pieter Devos and Roy van Beek. 👏
