SAHAYA-SAWES is de vzw van SAHAYA-
SAmenWErking Sevapur,
De VZW werd opgericht samen met Lea Provo in 1986. De zetel is nu in Retie.

Samenwerking Sevapur is 1 van de 4 projecten van Sahaya-Sawes VZW (https://sahaya-sawes.org/). Dit project zamelt gelden in via peterschappen en giften vanuit België, Nederland, Frankrijk en Zwitserland om onderandere de NGO INBA SEVA SANGAM ( ISS ) die gevestigd is in Sevapur, Tamil Nadu, Zuid - India en ook opgericht werd door Lea Provo te steunen. De zetel van ISS, ook opgericht door Lea Provo, bevindt zich in Sevapur - Tamil Nadu, Zuid-India. ISS is de afkorting voor Inba Seva Sangam. Het is de Indische NGO die Lea Provo heeft gesticht in 1968. ISS is gebaseerd op Gandhiaanse principes en de organisatie heeft de 2 dorpen, Sevapur en Vinobajipuram vanaf de eerste steen opgebouwd. Sevapur is een dorp waar kastelozen en a**en uit lage kasten hun thuis gevonden hebben en een nieuwe gemeenschap vormen die ondertussen erkend is geworden door de Indische regering. Vinobajipuram is gebouwd voor de gerepatriëerde Srilankezen in 1986 op aanvraag van de Indische regering. Naar aanleiding van hevige onlusten midden de jaren
tachtig, heeft men besloten om, buiten gerepatrieerde Srilankezen ook a**e Indiërs uit de omgeving te selecteren als bewoners van Vinobajipuram.

The 2nd of October Anthoniselvi, student of the first batch of the Biodynamic agriculture school, organised a Goat shed opening and community gathering on her Joyful biodynamic farm in Sevapur.
They were blessed with a surprise visit of Jakes Jayakaran, biodynamic teacher and founder of the BD school. He shared a reflection on Life forces in BD agticulture, the living nature of the soil and our intimite relationship with the Earth. For a small fa**er a goat can become a living source of economic resilience. They shared thoughts about : how can a family live with dignity and economic security while remaining in a living relationship with the Earth.
For sure the spirit of Lea Provo lives further on...

On 30th september, on mother Lea Provo memorial day, students of Anna Lea school, Sevapur baked breads in Theo's bakery unit and divided them to all.

The guesthouse, yoga hall, girlshostel in Sevapur went under a big transformation. After a long tradition of white and blue, the builings are now reshaped in the colours Earth brown, white and Sandelwood.
Some explanation :

The colour exterior Earth brown 🟤is a beautiful and thoughtful conceptualization of color symbolism.

Earth brown with a white border perfectly captures the active intention of restoring and protecting the planet—grounding the energy in the physical world while surrounding it with a boundary of purity, clarity, and renewal.

Transitioning to a sandalwood interior shifts the focus beautifully inward. Sandalwood has a long, cross-cultural history of being associated with meditation, grounding, and spiritual alignment. Using it to represent inner calmness and soul peace creates a powerful contrast with the exterior: it suggests that healing the outer world begins with, or is sustained by, cultivating deep peace within ourselves.

35 Agri course students and 2 teachers from Palaviduthi Government higher sec school visited on 8th september Inba Seva Sangam. They learned about mother Lea Provo, Annai herbal gardan, geo parc and sustainanle biodynamic agriculture.

Mushroom cultivation training.
A practical training and demonstration on mushroom cultivation was provided for the students of the Annai Lea school in Sevapur on 29 august
They learned the complete proces on how mushrooms are cultivated and prepared. They showed great enthusiasm and interest. Mr Shaktivel conducted the program.
