📍De Moeren, Veurne
De Moeren is not just a village, but also a sprawling landscape about 4 metres below sea level. In the 17th century, Archdukes Albrecht and Isabella ordered architect and engineer Cobergher to drain and reclaim the entire area. The dike used to be lined with windmills that transferred the water from the low-lying Moeren to the Ringslot. The handsome Sint-Karels mill and the bladeless Sint-Gustaafs mill still remind us of these times.

ℹ️ANIMATION SERIES GAP FINANCING MARKET
A brand-new market dedicated to international animated series that have already secured at least 70% of their financing and the commitment of at least one commissioner, and are looking for additional financial and industrial partners to complete their financing structure.

The Gap Financing Market will be structured in two sessions of two hours each with a total number of 20 projects pitching. The Decision Makers around the pitching table can ask questions to the project holders. The sessions will be open to the public (MIA 2026 participants).

Authentic stories and leading roles were rarely offered to people from his background, so Saïd Boumazoughe decided to create his own.
𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙚 evolved from a lockdown screenplay into a high-energy action film, directed by Bob Colaers and produced by A Team Productions. The film is having its world premiere this Sunday at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montréal.

Set in Antwerp, 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙚 follows Suleyman, a former prisoner who returns home only to find his apartment block, Paradise, overtaken by gangs and violence. Alongside rookie police officer Yasmine, he must fight his way through the building to save his mother.

Coward speelt zicht af in 1917 en gaat over Pierre, die als nieuwe soldaat aan het front komt en zich wil bewijzen in de strijd. Achter de linies ontmoet hij Francis, die met geïmproviseerde shows de moraal van de troepen probeert hoog te houden. Terwijl de oorlog onverbiddelijk voortwoedt, proberen ze allebei aan de realiteit te ontsnappen, al is het maar voor even.
