SPK Corporation is one of Japan’s leading wholesalers and solution providers specializing in aftermarket and OE components for automotive, commercial, and industrial vehicles. Established in 1917 and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, SPK has built long-standing partnerships with OEM manufacturers and suppliers, providing access to OE-quality components including electrical parts, sensors, maintenance products, and chemical products such as oils and coolants.

SPK has traditionally focused on wholesale of OE and OE-quality parts for automotive, commercial, and industrial vehicles, and now is exploring new business opportunity in the aftermarket value chain.

For that reason, SPK has joined APRA to strengthen its engagement with the remanufacturing community and explore opportunities within the circular economy.

By connecting with experienced rebuilders and industry experts in Europe, SPK aims to better understand the technical and sourcing challenges within the sector and identify ways to support sustainable lifecycle extension of components.

While Matsui Universal Joint Corporation is active in both OE and aftermarket businesses, URW Europa B.V. was founded as a specialized aftermarket company. Although based in the Netherlands, URW Europa B.V. serves customers not only in Europe but worldwide.

URW Europa B.V. operates its own factory and warehouse in the Netherlands, where steering racks, pumps, and driveshafts are remanufactured. In addition, the company functions as a global export hub for CV joints and universal joints manufactured by Matsui in Japan.
