Itinera invites you to the Itinera Summer Academy, including a full day at Love Tomorrow.
This country needs change: ideas, and leaders who dare to turn them into action. We’ve stood still for too long and missed too many opportunities. And change starts with the right people around the right table, with the right network and expertise.

That’s why Itinera invites you to our Summer Academy on 23 and 24 July: two days for leaders under 30 who want to help shape the future of Belgium and Europe.

Day 1 — Love Tomorrow Summit (Boom)
On the grounds of Tomorrowland, we dive into The Future of Intelligence, this year’s theme of the country’s most forward-thinking ideas festival.

Day 2 — Itinera offices (Brussels)
A sharp line-up of our own experts: keynotes and debates on globalisation, healthcare, resilience, public finance and democracy. With Marc De Vos, Johan Albrecht, Julien De Wit, Baudouin de Hemptinne and Ank De Wilde.
Expect powerful speakers, sharp debate and a network of likeminded changemakers. Catering, lunch and afterwork drinks ar provided.

Participation costs just €65 - the price of the Love Tomorrow ticket. Places are limited and reserved exclusively for invited leaders under 30.

Recent gaf Itinera input aan de regering omtrent de begrotingsopmaak.

Een zeer goed initiatief van de betrokken ministers dat we toejuichen. Al blijven we bij Itinera pleiten voor een nóg grondigere professionalisering van de begrotingsopmaak. Zo kort op de bal spelen en zonder rekeningenkader voorstellen doen is een eerste stap, die smaakt naar meer en grondigere voorbereiding van begrotingswerk.

Overigens niet alleen federaal. En niet alleen voor besparingen. Ook voor de uitgaven en de doelmatigheid daarvan.

Wie wil meewerken aan een beter land verdient alle respect, expertise en ondersteuning.

Al tientallen jaren streeft Itinera naar beleidsimpact op verschillende niveaus. Het doel? Een beter werkend land, in een beter werkend Europa.

Deze week was co-CEO Marc De Vos te gast in de Nederlandse Tweede Kamer voor een gedachtenwisseling / rondetafelgesprek rond de toekomst van Europa en hoe die eruit ziet op twee snelheden. De Tweede Kamer ging ook in op de prangende defensieuitdaging.

Vorige week werd onze fellow Julien De Wit ontvangen door Eerste Minister De Wever naar aanleiding van zijn nieuwe publieksboek De Comeback Code.

In dat essay onderzoekt Julien hoe we als mensen, organisaties en samenleving veerkrachtiger kunnen worden en innovatiever. Het zoekt een antwoord op de vraag: hoe zetten we crisistijd om in opportuniteit?

Het boek werd al snel een bestseller, die zelfs op nummer 1 kwam te staan in de non-fictie ranking. Intussen vindt het boek ook vlot zijn weg naar vele politici binnen verschillende politieke partijen.

La semaine dernière, notre fellow Julien De Wit a été reçu par le Premier ministre Bart De Wever à l’occasion de son nouveau livre grand public De Comeback Code.

Dans cet essai, Julien explore comment nous pouvons, en tant qu’individus, organisations et société, devenir plus résilients et plus innovants. Il cherche à répondre à la question suivante : comment transformer les périodes de crise en opportunités ?

Le livre est rapidement devenu un best-seller, atteignant même la première place du classement des ouvrages de non-fiction. Entre-temps, il trouve également aisément son chemin vers de nombreux responsables politiques issus de différents partis.
