De European Galgo & Podenco Advocacy Council (EGPAC) is een onafhankelijke Europese burgerbeweging die zich inzet voor de bescherming van galgo’s, poden
co’s en andere jachthonden die structureel worden mishandeld, verwaarloosd en gedood binnen de jachtpraktijken, met bijzondere aandacht voor Spanje. Wij geloven dat traditie nooit een excuus mag zijn voor mishandeling. Onze beweging bestaat uit burgers, vrijwilligers en dierenliefhebbers uit verschillende Europese landen die één gemeenschappelijk doel delen: echte verandering afdwingen via bewustwording, politieke druk en wetgeving. The European Galgo & Podenco Advocacy Council (EGPAC) is an independent European citizen movement dedicated to protecting galgos, podencos, and other hunting dogs who continue to suffer from structural abuse, neglect, and killing within hunting practices, with a strong focus on Spain. EGPAC was founded out of deep outrage at a system where extreme animal cruelty is still defended under the excuse of “tradition.” We firmly believe that tradition can never justify suffering. Our movement consists of citizens, volunteers, and animal advocates from across Europe who share one common goal: to create real change through awareness, political pressure, and legislation.
