The European Galgo & Podenco Advocacy Council (EGPAC) is an independent European citizen movement dedicated to protecting galgos, podencos, and other hunting dogs who continue to suffer from structural abuse, neglect, and killing within hunting practices, with a strong focus on Spain. EGPAC was founded out of deep outrage at a system where extreme animal cruelty is still defended under the excuse of “tradition.” We firmly believe that tradition can never justify suffering. Our movement consists of citizens, volunteers, and animal advocates from across Europe who share one common goal: to create real change through awareness, political pressure, and legislation.
