You might have heard of it, or not at all. Whatever your background, we invite you to join us on Wednesday, 28 October at 19:00 at Attrechtcollege to learn about the El Niño phenomenon and the impact it could have on our planet.

When we hear about yet another fire, flood, war, or oil project, we might just keep scrolling. So it is normal that you might want to skip this invitation to learn about the weather event that keeps scientists and journalists on the edge of their chairs. Our invitation for you is to give it a try. Professionals from Tractie will facilitate activities that help us identify and understand our emotions while reminding us that we can take care of ourselves and of each other throughout the process.

In this event, processing how this information makes us feel will be just as important as the scientific facts we will hear about El Niño. Since we want to create a space where participants can engage with both the science and their emotional responses, only 30 spots will be available. We kindly ask you to register if you plan to join the full event.

💚Help us drive food change at KU Leuven!
What we know: The meat and dairy industry are one of the biggest greenhouse gas polluters.

What we also know: Students are driving change from their universities, while university restaurants like the are working hard to provide tasty and affordable plant-based meals. But we can always aim higher 🙂

You can sign the petition for a 100% KU Leuven by scanning the code or here: https://act.plantbasedunis.org/kuleuven -section . Share far and wide!

A big thank you to everyone that came to the streets to protest. To the ones that stayed the whole march, to the ones that took a deviation to dance, to the GO alumni who came to say hi, to the professors and staff members: dikke merci!!!

If you could not join this time, please know that is ok, it is not always easy to make time for it. Perhaps you can join us next year?
